It’s too easy without enough feedback, which makes it very easy to misshift. Also don’t have a good way to mount it, yet.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a pretty pricey peripheral that requires the steering wheel to work and even though I got it bundle for free with the wheel, I have to say that the build quality is pretty cheap. It's mostly plastic and i don't like the handle.

The quality of the knob itself is fine, the faux leather adds a nice touch. But the shifter does not have any resistance and when you are shifting, it is easy to easy to drop into the wrong gear. I've modified my shifter using a 3d printed resistor plate, but the gates are short, so it didn't help much. I've driven a car manual transmission with short shifter and this feels nothing like it. I badly wanted this to work so I can get that old time feeling again but I feel let down by this product. Using the paddle shifters on the wheel is actually better, so I wouldn't recommend this product if you are looking for a real feel when shifting.

Shifter needs some improvements

It works after updating the firm ware on wheel however as soon as you turn the racing wheel off or change games Shifter stops responding. So you have to keep going into the logitech app to keep connecting the shifter wich is time consuming when you just want to relax and game with stuff that doesn’t need to be constantly updated by a computer just to use something the manufacturer makes for these specific racing wheels g920 g923. I don’t recommend this to anyone not familiar with updates and computer downloads. Needs lots of work. Thumbs Down even if it were priced at 20 bucks thumbs down.
