Decent but could be better.

Even after using it many times I still feel like I’m guessing which gear I’m putting it in sometimes. But it’s not that expensive so compared to what is out there.

Even though there are shifter paddles on the wheel, having a real knob shifter makes a huge difference in making everything feel "right," especially when driving in VR. I like that the look and feel match my wheel. I didn't know that you have to push the knob in to engage the reverse gear, but figured it out eventually. I don't know how to drive stick, so I figured this would be a good way to get used to things. My wife, however, learned to drive on an old stick shift pickup truck out on the farm. She hopped into a simulated mustang and proceeded to have herself a blast just running laps on a practice course.

Good for a casual approach

Good Cheap Entry into Racing SIM
