Having shifter is nice, although I do find myself using both this and the paddle shifts sometimes. Definitely nice to have direct route for reverse :) Not liking the push-down for reverse though, all my real cars had/have a pull up collar, but I guess that's too costly to simulate on controller. Pretty happy with it nevertheless.

The thing is mostly plastic anyway. The thing that made me get it is that it's really the only external shifter compatible with Logitech wheels at that price. So your kinda forced to get it if you have a Logitech wheel and want an external shifter. New and used ones are all around $50, so I just went with a new one. It's nice to have but I still can't get over paying $50 for it. It seems like it's maybe worth $25.

Great Fun with Forza Motorsports

In a nostalgic escape, I bought this on sale for my little race sim setup and I am quite pleased. It is super fun to use with Forza Motorsports. Please note that the H style shifting will NOT work on F1 23 on Xbox Series X as modern-day F1 cars are paddle controlled for manual shifting.

WOULD RECOMMEND if you wanna have FUN. Nothing beats slamming gears down a track with this shifter, much better than using the paddles on the wheel in my opinion. You can even customize it later on by changing out the shifter know and stick.

I have been playing The Crew Motorfest right now, And the difference between a regular Xbox controller, and Logitech G923 with the Stick shift is absolutely amazing. There is one con. This controller does not work 100% straight out of the box. Every racing game has its on adjustable settings for the stick, and you have to research and fine tune it to fit you.

At first I wondered if we would have issues with it but it’s been working great and he loves it!

I recently bought another for the G920 wheel I got. It does have a slight click in certain gears when shifting into them, but I noticed other ones did the same thing and it's pretty minor.

The shifter can be clamped or screwed (screws not included) depending on your setup. It is compatible with all Logitech wheels including my G923. Could've been a little bit bigger in my opinion but that's ok. Other than that really good and definitely recommend if you like driving manuals!
