Severe stick drift in under 200 hours

Barely lasted for a couple hundred hours of gaming before it got severe stick drift. Even though it's half the price of the big name controllers, it's twice as shoddy. And it's not nearly as comfortable. These may have been solid controllers in the past but don't bother with them now.

Plays the games you need it for

won some steam games to play and though I am used to playing my games on my computer keyboard, for these few games it was not a natural setup. Did the research for controllers. Started my research and ended my research on Best Buy's website. All the info I needed I found it the stats and reviews of Best Buy so why check anywhere else. Though there were some bad reviews on this one I took the chance with this one that looked like would fit my needs. I plugged the controller in the usb port, windows 7 auto installed in seconds, brought up my games and everything was in sync. I had to relearn how to use this controller since it was similar to what i used to play with. I found that if I customized the buttons to where it was natural to me then it made it comfortable feel and easier to remember. So the purchase, install, compatibility, customizing and feel was excellent. Any issues I had pointed to my ignorance that I solved with a loose learning curve.

    Logitech F310 Gaming Pad - Blue/Black Review

The Logitech F310 Gaming Pad is a budget-friendly choice for gamers looking for a reliable, no-frills controller. While it may not offer the premium build quality or advanced features of high-end controllers, it definitely serves its purpose at a much more accessible price point. Design & Comfort: The blue/black color scheme gives it a sleek, classic look, and its lightweight design makes it comfortable for long gaming sessions. The button layout mirrors that of an Xbox controller, which feels intuitive and familiar for most players. The D-pad is a bit stiff at first but breaks in over time. Performance: The F310 connects via USB and works seamlessly on both Windows and Mac systems, which is a bonus for gamers who play across different platforms. It may lack features like vibration feedback or wireless connectivity, but its performance is smooth and reliable. The buttons are responsive, and the analog sticks are accurate for precise movements in various game genres. Compatibility: One of the standout aspects is its compatibility with both newer and older games. With the XInput/DirectInput toggle switch on the back, it can easily adapt to different game configurations, making it a versatile option for a wide range of games. Value for Money: At its price point, the Logitech F310 is hard to beat. It’s an excellent choice for casual gamers or those looking for a backup controller without breaking the bank. While it may not be the go-to choice for competitive or professional gaming, it delivers a solid gaming experience for the price. Overall, if you’re looking for a dependable, no-nonsense controller that works well on Mac and Windows, the Logitech F310 is a great option to consider.

My favorite game pad is the Dualsense PS5 controller, but for PC this one is much cheaper, and works pretty much just as good. I wouldn't use any other game pad. You can freely switch between Direct Input and XInput so it works with 99% of games right out of the box, old or new.

    A "Controller's" Controller

This is a "controller's controller" - a standard classic that has stood the test of time. First purchased this model around 2010 from Best Buy, but the controller finally wore out with use. Instead of a different model, I went back to what's familiar. Pros: - The floating d-pad is comfortable and easy to use. Perfect for fighting games. - Button layout has classic color schema for those used to the Xbox controller layout. - Can switch between XInput (for Xbox Controller support) and DInput (customized button layout). - "Mode" button allows you to swap the role of the D-Pad and Left Joystick. Cons: - After years of use, controller started randomly disconnecting while in use. However, this was likely due to how I was using the controller at the time. Results will vary per user. - The Trigger Buttons are not too comfortable or responsive - they stick straight up and are ergonomically worse than PS3 Trigger buttons. Really have to put pressure on the Trigger Buttons for in-game actions to register. - Because of the grip design of the controller, some hands may not rest as comfortably as others. It took a while to get used to the grip, but after much use, you get used to the design. Overall, I would definitely recommend this controller to anyone who needs a new PC controller. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but after 15+ years of use, I know what to expect from this controller.

    Good controller for the price

Quite comfortable in the hands, Windows 10 and Steam recognizes this readily and setup is a piece of cake. It comes with a long wire and depending on how big the room is, let's play the game sitting at a comfortable distance from the TV/Monitor. Buttons are not so easy on the fingers, especially the LB,LT,RB RT. Not good for long and rigorous usage. Pros: Good controller for the price, comfortable, Long wire, Durable Cons: Button spring could be a bit easy on the fingers.

I bought this remote because I wanted to daughter to be able to game with me and she was having trouble with the traditional remotes being to big for her little hands (she is 7). With this remote she is able to hold the handles and still access the buttons. The performance and reliability are good and I have had no issues with response time or defects of any kind. The price point was the best, turns out it was one of the least expensive devices in the category and I was able t get out of the store for $20 as opposed to the $60 my remote cost.

This is just as good as more expensive controllers, including others by Logitech. It seamlessly works with Windows 10 games that support XBox360 or XBox one controllers. It also has a PS3/PS4 emulator mode with profiler software , but in Xbox mode you don't need it. It holds up to rigorous use. I am physocally challenged and find this controller easier to hold in my adaptive way then fancier models. Plus it is half the price.

Light weight , responsive, device feels small & solid, has nice round buttons, and analog sticks are superb. Compatible with number of games on windows & can be easily switched between X-Input and Direct Input modes. It's a great controller, but you may miss heavy - wireless controller with vibration/rumble.

It's a great controller for the price. No vibration, but that wasn't a big issue for me. I wished the bottom right and left triggers were recessed more like an Xbox controller. They get a little uncomfortable to me after a while. I bought it for Rocket League and it does what I was wanting it to do.

For the Price this controller is amazing, a little hard to handle first, but later you get used to it, there's really not much to complain about, except the triggers which are a bit hard, but for $20 It's fine, I don't mind it much, Overall a very good Controller and I would recommend

Excellent performance - and works on XP PCs

When my old Microsoft Sidewinder game controller for my Windows XP PC died I thought I was in trouble - as those of us that still cling to relic Windows XP PCs know, it is can be very difficult finding replacement components that support Windows XP. Happily the Logitech F310, although billed for Windows 7 and above OS's, works very nicely with Windows XP right out of the box (without any special downloads or tickering). Surprisingly, Logitech does not mention this important information on the box. The controller feels and handles like the Sony Playstation controllers, which I found as an improvement over the Microsoft Sidewinder. The action on the buttons and the thumb pad are sharp and precise. In short, I cannot say enough good things about the Logitech F310.

Controller is a perfect fit in my hands. Not overpriced like most controllers now which is a plus. Very responsive buttons even though there is a small period where some buttons may need a “break in” period. Very easy to start using as long as your game supports controllers. Pressing the middle button does seem to bug out Steam Overlay for some reason for me anyways so just Shift + Tab if needed. I am planning on buying a second as a backup in case they stop producing these.

Works great on my MacBook pro (late 2012) with open emu. Best emulator out there for tons of controllers. The controller does what it's supposed to do, easily programmable, and doesn't feel like it is real cheap. Great bargain controller that works with Mac you can't go wrong.

This item is exactly what you would expect: a reliable and easy to use controller from Logitech that works simply via USB connection and plug and play. Ease of Use: Plug-and-play worked without any problems on my system and so far it has worked as expected with all the games that support controllers. So far I've used it with Magic Duels, Disgaea, Fallout Shelter, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 9 and Final Fantasy 10. I have yet to try it with the BioShock collection but I'm sure if the game supports controllers, it should work without issue. Cons: None so far, beside the lack of Bluetooth connectivity and requirement of being plugged in to be powered. A solid, simple gaming controller and the buttons don't feel mushy and they are responsive. The sticks don't appear to have any dead zone issues either.

Have been using this controller for seven years, and since it was on sale, I decided to get a backup as my R1 button was wearing out. If you are okay with a wired PC game controller, this is probably among the best of the third-party controllers and you can get 3 or 4 for the price of a single wireless first-party controller. It has both Xinput and DirectInput modes via a switch on the back, so it can be used with both modern games/operating systems as well as older ones. These days, most folks will leave this on Xinput mode 99+% of the time.

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my husband, so we could play some games together on our PC. I hate XBox controllers, as they are large and for me, bulky and uncomfortable. I like this one because it fits my hands nicely. So A+ there. I gave it one less star because I feel like this product feels a bit cheap. It's not bad, by any means, it's a great price and works without having to install anything, but the plastic feels a tad on the cheap side. Maybe that's just me and not used to holding controllers... Nothing that won't keep me from playing, though.

...and therefore, it's amazing quality for a low price. My only complaint is that the triggers are a bit wonky to use. But this controller is an amazing product on its own, and even better if you can do some hardware mods to customize it. It can function as the best base for a custom controller that you can get, and if you mess it up, it's only $20 to get a new one. I've owned a Logitech gamepad in some form consistently for 10 years. They're amazing, they've always been amazing, and I see no reason why they won't continue to be amazing.
