Quality of chat and audio is clear!

I gave it a 4 stars because the audio is nothing special. There's a lot of good headsets out there-- the quality of the output of most headsets have plateaued-- this one I can say, has nothing special in terms of quality-- I am not saying it is not good, because it is-- it's just not notable. The chat audio is clear although I cannot just slide the mouthpiece out of the way when I need to because it is the bending type. I like the mute switch on the cord though. It makes me not have to chat with my team if I don't have to. The ear cups are not as comfortable. It feels like my ears are shaking inside it-- it doesn't make it feel snug. But overall, it does the job. It looks pretty and is plug and play with everything. Yes, I tried it on my pc, my console, my tablet and phone and I deliver clear communication to whoever I am playing / speaking with.

    Excellent Set of Gaming Headphones

Logitech really seems like they've put alot of time and effort into designing their gaming line of products. This G Pro Wired Headset is a great headset for anyone looking for a quality and comfortable gaming headset thats compatible across all platforms. First thing I noticed right off the bat is the extra set of leatherette ear pieces that come with the headset. Most companies never do this for over ear units so I found this to be a very nice addition. Every cable that comes with the headset is braided. The microphone has a harder bendable braided cable to position the mic correctly. It feels sturdy and solid compared to some flimsy mics I've used in the past. The headphones do a great job of noise cancelling and the sound is crisp and clear. Every game I've used it on so far has been a blast. I usually don't use gaming headphones just exclusively to play single player but I've found myself wearing them more because of the immersion it gives to the game! Also I love that the headset is compatible with different gaming systems. I have a PS4 and an Xbox One X as well as a PC games so its nice to be able to switch back between all of them with the additional cable provided. All in all I give this headset 5 stars because it flat out gets the job done. I highly recommend.

I wanted a headset for gaming so after much research, I went with the G Pro Headset. They are one of the most comfortables headsets I've ever worn. They also sound great. The reason I gave this 4 stars though is because all my friends say that I sound kind of quiet through the microphone even though I talk loud. That's the only negative thing about this headset. Other than that, I'd say these are worth it.

PROS: • Nice Design • Lightweight • Adjustable • Additional Cushions • Noise Reduction • Comfortable CONS: • Low Sound • Replacement of Cushions are Tricky Review: The Logitech - G PRO Wired Surround Sound Gaming Headset for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, VR have a nice design, that make it look high end and sleek. They are lightweight and comfortable. After a while you won’t even notice you are wearing them. Additional cushions are a plus. After some wear and tear, you can swap them out but not without some patience and time. This action can be a bit tricky as to getting the small plastic liner into the seam of the boom isn’t easy. There is decent noise reduction and is noticeable as soon as you put them on. As far as noise reduction when there’s audio coming from the headset, I wasn’t able to tell. I could never get the volume loud enough. After trying this headset on a Windows 10 PC and Xbox One, I was unable to get the sound loud. There were times the sound would come out at a whisper. This included chatting or any sound from music and gameplay. Tried several options, including connecting it to a wireless headset adapter to increase the volume, but to no avail on either system I tried. This headset was greatly appealing after unboxing it and having it in hand. After having the sound issues, it was disappointing to say the least.

Comfortable and Good Looking but Lacking Sound

I have mixed feelings about this headset. These headphones worked great and I initially thought really highly of it when I first plugged it on. But after playing a couple of video games, there just wasn't something quite right about the sound. The problem was that there was no surround sound. I couldn't distinguish where the sound was coming from. This made me anxious every time I heard an enemies footsteps because I had no idea where they were and how close they were to me. I first doubted the problem was the headset itself, so I went online, downloaded the Logitech Gaming software, and updated the drivers. It still didn't work so then I looked up online, and sure enough, IGN said that these headsets didn't have surround sound. Other than that, these headsets are amazing and are really comfortable. I have a really wide and large head compared to others and the headset still felt comfortable. Even with glasses on, I could wear these headsets for hours on end. Along with the amazing cushions, this pair of headphones have a sleek design that are really lowkey. I could wear these to school and no one would notice they were for gaming unless they recognized the logo. Overall, these headphones are great to use because they are one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. The sleek design is also a great addition, but the lack of surround sound really makes me wonder if this should be considered a legitimate "gaming" headset. It also is weird that Logitech named this product a "Surround Sound Headset." It is totally misleading.

I am not an audiophile snob to any extent, i've used cheap 20 dollar headsets and been happy with them. Previous headset was a sennheiser game one for years, prior to that a Logitech g930, prior to that some cheap Chinese set. This headset however is pretty subpar. A: It's is not comfortable for prolonged use. I am at the computer most of the day. These start to make my head uncomfortable after a couple hours, not in the sense of extreme pain but definitely not comfortable enough to the point where you want to take them off. In comparison I used to fall asleep in my previous several headsets without an issue( and wake up in them after a rested sleep in the morning!) Definitely stick to open back not closed back headset. B: The sound quality is TEERRRRIBLE, sound at times sounds like its mostly coming from one side and quality is overall atrocious and muffled. (literally worse than any cheap chinese headset that I have ever used) Returning asap. Unfortunately games ones are not available anymore from best buy. Overall will be looking for a good quality open backed headset that I can attach a vmoda mic to. While initially the lack of bass compared to closed backs is distracting, the comfort and sound quality is significantly better with open back. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I would peek outside or over my shoulder trying to figure out where the sound was coming from outside, as that is simply how lifelike the sound was in the Sennheiser game ones.

You buy this headset if you want to game on a console or PC without cheap feeling plastic or pointless lights. The fact you can remove the mic is nice for non-gaming. I know its a personal preference but I like that it's matte.
