These head phones were a complete surprise as I would expect to pay double for the quality. Sound great, mic sounds great, nice volume control right on the wire, and they feel very comfortable and well made. Hope to get a long life out of them.

Cancelling the outside noise stays true to its description 99%. My ears were snug fit and mic is very flexible and bendy. Cord is very extensive. Quality is worth the price!

Heavy use by a teenager for past weeks has not only satisfied his requierementts but seems to meet the sturdiness requirement which will mean no replacement needed for at least a few years.

Comfortable for long periods, fairly good sound. Did notice some distortion on loud sound effects (explosions, screams, etc.), but overall a good headset and a fairly good price.

It is a good set for my 11 year old to use on a desktop, to chat with friends online. The only reason a gave four starts is because it was a little hard to install, took longer than we thought, finding the right setting was hard for a mom with not much of a computer knowledge.

The sound quality and mic quality are very good. The headphones are very comfortable and can be worn for several hours at a time with no issues. The only drawback is that they do a very good job of blocking background noise so you may not hear other people trying to get your attention.

My son uses this for gaming. He says it's comfortable for hours of use at a time. He says the sound is good and has not had any complaints with voice to his friends. He uses Ventrillo and others and works well. I have a Hyperx cloud 2 and LOVE it. But it was a lot more than this.

Have had many different headsets from many different companies. I use these primarily for World of Warcraft and Ventrillo (voip service). The people I play with have remarked how much better I sound now. I was so impressed by how great these are that when I found the next model higher, the G430's, on sale, I purchased them and still kept the G230's even though I was within the 30 day return window. Even if you have a good set of ultra-high end cans for gaming, grab these as a solid backup. You just might like them better than the $200+ models! (The sound quality is great for movies and music as well!)

While I have yet to use the mic, this set of headphones is very comfortable and provide rich sound. Be aware you will need to purchase an adapter to use this with a gaming system.

Better sound than I thought for the price. Use them to watch movies on my tablet as well.

If you want great gaming headphones but don't want to break the bank, these are for you. Fantastic sound quality, noise cancellation, extra long cord. Great price range for the parent who doesn't want to spend a bunch, the college student on a budget, and the penny pincher gamer.
