I’m sure the product is probably good. My issue was the associate at the store that answered all my questions wrong and I bought this for my son with an Xbox one. This item and it’s really cool features do not work on that platform. So, I failed at Christmas.

This head showed a lot of promise. Feature wise, it had everything I wanted; wireless, Surround Sound, long detachable charging cable, LED lights that could be synced with my Logitech mouse, great sound and microphone quality. After about 6 months a ton of issues started to show up. First the charging port started to get loose. This is not an issue that can be fixed by buying a new USB cable - the actual built in part in the headset to this day is unreliable and only charges the headset half the time. Second the headset does not wake up from it's standby / sleep mode reliably. When a few minutes of silence have passed the headset will go into sleep mode. When you turn up the volume the headset will wake back up - half the time this doesn't work and requires you to hard shut down your headset for 10 seconds and then reboot it. Third the receiver is finicky and requires you to replug it about twice a month which can be annoying if the receiver is in the back of the computer. Last, the headset will just freeze up and be unresponsive - then the Logitech software will try to reinstall or update the firmware and this leads to the headset being bricked (completely useless) until a hard power reset is done with the reset button. Oh and the thing feels cheap. I get that a light weight headset is ideal, but it feels so easy to snap the cheap plastic casing on this thing. The battery also doesn't hold a very long charge (about 4 hours) but I was able to get around that by disabling the LED lights and get 7 hours lol. I would never recommend this headset and will be switching peripherals to something else besides logitech. I'm an avid gamer and spend a lot of time on PCs for work and this thing feels like it needs to be dumped in the $30 clearance bin, not sold for whatever it costs now.

The headset overall was a let down for me in all honestly. Its build quality was nice, the sound was good however, due to some software issues the headset just simply is not loud. If you are looking for a headset with a good punch. Do not purchase this one. It lacks the amplification needed to deliver those ear rumbling moments. On top of that the buttons on the side are just gimmicky, they allow for Macros and pre sets to be programmed but lets be real, who wants to use their headset to control in game stuff or applications... Not this guy. Sadly i have returned these to purchase a better headset.

I’ve had two of these with the same issue after a few months where one of the sides will not have audio coming out of it. Other than that a great headset but make sure you get the Geek Squad Protection.

Picked up a pair of these after my G930s of 7 years finally died on me. So far the experience has been great. 4 stars only because I've been having a little trouble with the LGS and drivers that causes the mic to stop working if I pull the boom down from the up position.
