So I want to start by saying this is simply an awesome headset hands down the best I have used thus far. I have used the G930s for the last 2 years and have really enjoyed them, after a pleasurable experience with them I could wait to see what Logitech produced next. I read all of these reviews previous to buying the headset and noticed right off the bat that the people that were writing the reviews must not be able to read instructions. The part I am talking about is that you need to download the logitech gaming software to get these puppies fully operational (all clearly displayed in instructions), however unfortunately these horrible people are giving this new product a bad name because they refuse to be an intelligent being. Alright that is it for my rant... Gaming: WOAH, some of these gun shots sound like they are right there behind me in my room, if you are looking for true immersion throw these guys over your ears and let them suck you in. I tested a few different games with the headset. First was Battlefield 4, countless times I hear the enemy trying to sneak up on me but I heard his footsteps first so I could get him first, truly a game changer. The G933s make you feel like you are on the battlefield, explosions go off with absolutely no distortion and I like to play them LOUD. Next game I played was ARK (a primitive survival game). I was pleased with the performance but did not notice to many differences from my previous G930 headset. Since this game doesnt really involve and crazy explosions or fast paced action the G933s seemed a bit overkill. Music: So as I said before I like things to be REALLY loud and that goes for my music too. first thing I tested was the most bass intensive song I could find, bass boost it more, max volumes and play it. My ears were literally shaking within the muffs. The sound was so crystal clear and absolutely no distortion from heavy bass hits. Compared the previous G930s to the G933s: So in my opinion (20 year old hardcore gamer with a $5k rig) the G933s are worth the expensive price tag. But are going to be truly unnecessary for most people in every department except for bass distortion and connection it seems the new G933s are only slightly better. I would advise checking out the G930s first for most people. The connection is good most of the time with a drop here and there (maybe 1-2 in a 6 hour gaming session, remember 2 years old), as well as the bass not being able to work to the max because distortion will start scratching up the sound. What this means to you: Get this headset if: - You have money to throw around - Bass is important to you - You are a major gamer Get the G930 if: - Need something cheaper that will be 80% as good as this product - dont mind the occasional 3 second connection drop - You dont need much bass Both headsets are absolutely amazing. I hope I helped you make up your mind today and enjoy your new sound! Leave me a comment if you have any questions, I should answer within 24hrs.

Let me start by saying I wear headsets for over 10 hours per day between work and gaming. I'm replacing a Logitech G930 headset, and have really enjoyed using that. After two years of daily use and abuse, the G930 was worth every penny I spent on it. I wanted to give Logitech another shake, and some more of my money. Enter the G933 Artemis Spectrum. The color selection allows me to match the lighting to my custom rig and my mechanical keyboard (Corsair K95 RGB), though that really didn't way on my decision in any way, it's a nice bonus. I noticed before purchase that the cushions on the G933 over the earpieces are foam, covered in woven cloth. The cushions over the G930 earpieces are foam wrapped in a thin vinyl. The cloth covering is certainly more comfortable, and is less likely to wear down and flake off the way the G930 pads did. Another quick comparison between the two models: the G933 is a bit lighter, and so should be much better for lengthy use. The sound is exactly what I expect: solid, but not mind-blowing. I'm mostly using these for Skype calls, music, netflix, and a bit of gaming. I can tell you they are perfect for what I do, and I'm sure most folks will feel the same way. There are several connection options: via the usb dongle (wireless), bluetooth, and 3.5mm/RCA. Since I rely on these for work, having a secondary and tertiary connection option is fantastic. Downtime = money lost. There are a few quick things I'd like to point out, as they threw me off for a moment. The instructions that come with this set are pretty terrible; it's basically a poorly drawn diagram on the bottom of the box and a web address for further support. After searching frantically for the usb dongle that I thought I lost or didn't receive, I decided to check inside the earphones. There is a removable cover over the outset of each earpiece. Under the right earpiece cover, there is an easily removable battery (great move by Logitech for end users who want to use the wireless functionality for several years, as batteries wear down over time). Under the cover on the left earpiece is the usb dongle. I can think of several reasons the headset/dongle are packaged this way, but I can think of no reason why this is not explicitly written in the documentation (the crude illustrations on the bottom of the box apparently depict this, but come on.) For PC use, swing over to logitech.com/support/g933 to download and install the PC gaming software, so you can customize settings to your heart's desire. After installing the software, I had to reboot, no big deal. I gave the G933 a quick run through some Spotify music and was a bit let down, honestly. The lesson I learned is this: 7.1 is turned on by default. It is great for gaming, but lackluster when listening to music. I turned it off, and immediately the headset sounded great. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase, and I'd make it again. Comfort: 10/10 Sound: 8.5/10 Functionality: 10/10

TL;DR version: Outstanding headset, great features, good battery life. Surround sound actually sounds like surround sound, not a cheap knock off. Audio clarity/quality is fantastic. However, I need to have my headset replaced due to the "stuck in sleep mode" issue because the battery won't charge anymore due to the software thinking the headset is powered off or in sleep mode. If you get this headset, make sure to get the 2 year GS replacement plan, just in case. However, I was an early adopter so the firmware in my headset could be all jacked up due to the changes. I'll be exchanging my headset at my local BB and will update my long version after I've had the new one for a few months. ----- The long version: ----- The surround sound, clarity, and features on this headset are awesome.... when it works. I'm getting the dreaded sleep issue. I got the headset when it first game out (I should've known better than to be a first adopter). I went from a set a Turtle Beach PX3s to this headset. For the positive things, there's a WORLD of difference in clarity and sound. The lowest are deep and mellow, the mids are full, and the highs are crisp and clear. The surround sound feature is fantastic. It's immersive and really feels like the sound is "in your head". The on board eq is very customizable and you can even program an eq for each game on your PC using the logitech software. It's easy to mute/unmute your mic simply by retracting the boom and flipping it up/storing it in the headset. I find this much easier than trying to hunt for the mute button by feel on the back of the left ear cup. Speaking of the ear cups, they are comfortable over long gaming sessions. Long Raids in WoW/LoTRo, hours of Rocket League, other steam games, this headset doesn't really get uncomfortable for me until the batteries start dying from being at a full charge. The ear cups rotate and fold flat so you can hang the headset around your neck instead of having to worry about the headset falling off your head while you are afk. I read reviews before purchasing this headset and I tend to get 6-10 hours out of the headset with the lights set to cyan pulse. The color rotating setting makes the battery die faster and of course, if the effects lights are off you get an extra hour or two. Now, to address my issues. I've had to reset the headset due to the sleep setting over ten times now. I got the 2 year geek squad replacement plan, so I'm going to go get a replacement tonight. I've reflashed the firmware on the headset several times using the Logitech approved method and using command line firmware upgrades. At first, the firmware flash fixed it and the new firmware has a feature to disable the sleep setting. However, my headset loses connectivity to the USB dongle if I go out of the house near the pool to take the dogs to the restroom (about 150 ft through several walls). The range is fairly good on the headset, as I generally don't lose it until I'm on the far side of the house or outside. So the range is fantastic. However, my best guess is it lost it's settings when I went out of range. Went I went back inside, it had the dreaded "stuck in sleep mode" issue again. Eventually, I gave up trying to factory reset it and just dealt with the headset only being a headset and a mic, no special features, no surround sound. Now, the eternal sleep mode on the software is keeping my headset from charging, so I have to have it constantly plugged in, which defeats the point of it being wireless. ***NOTE: I'm going to my local BB to have my headset replaced tonight and hopefully I'll have better luck with my next headset. I had one of the original headsets before Logitech updated their firmware to add the feature to disable sleep mode and the firmware upgrade never really seemed to take effect well since my headset had already encountered the sleep issue. Also, yes, before anyone flames me, I did the factory reset with the battery removed to eliminate any settings staying in the memory on the headset. I REALLY like the headset, the features really are fantastic for the price and with the price drop to $130ish recently, it's definitely a good buy. I bought it at the original $200 price and felt a little cheated when the USB dongle wouldn't work with my PS4. Well, it "worked", but the mic wouldn't work. For the mic to work you have to hardwire to the controller. Also, no, I don't primarily use this on my PS4, I use it on my PC, but I just wanted to see if it would work. Anyways, I cannot truly say if I "recommend" this headset yet until I see if I just got a headset that got screwed up from the sleep mode/firmware issues. Hopefully the replacement will perform better. I'll update my review after I've had my new headset for a few months.

I was looking for a new headset now that the PC is in the bedroom and having my Bose speakers on is now not an option. Wanted a comfortable headset I could use for 2-3 hours at a time while I mess around on the computer or game. After looking at several products available at my local Best Buy I decided on these. My first thought when I opened the box are these things look great. It's a nice futuristic look and the weight seems just right. The padding on the ears fits my giant ears perfectly and have had zero issues after many hours of use. While the cushion on the top is pretty hefty I wish it was either a different material or thicker. My only real complaint is that after an hour or so the top of my head gets a little sore. Maybe it's just me. So overall the fit is 4 of 5. The sound is where this thing excels. The first thing I did with these was run a game of Fortnite to see how they would handle. The sound of footsteps drove me nuts. I was hearing things everywhere. I was completely unaware that the sound in this game could be this good. Volume is good with a nice volume rocker on the left side of the headset for easy of use. Easily 5 of 5 for sound. Range of the wireless headset. So, I live in a two story apartment. I needed a break in my gaming (Fortnite with a friend) and walked downstairs to get a soda. I left the room, walked down the stairs, through the living room, through the dining area and into the kitchen. I was able to receive audio and speak to my friend the entire time. Great range. 5 of 5. Miscellaneous things. The braided power cord is a strong and lengthy cable. Wearing the headset with the cable attached is uncumbersome and hardly noticeable. Also, a nifty (at least I think so) is that when you have the mic extended and you mute it, a red light appears at the end of the mic so you can tell that you're no longer sending audio. I enjoy the headset and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wireless/wired great sounding headphones.

I come from the turtle beach elite 800 , turtle beach stealth 700 and the astros a20. The sound and comfort are by far the best on these headphones than anything else out there, I ended up purchasing the Astros A50’s because it just has more features that I need it (charging dock, Dolby,) but I wished Logitech had them. Logitech if you are reading this, please make some headphones with all the settings available like , Bluetooth, touch buttons, charging dock, keep the lights, Optical for PS4, and even optional leather cups... if you had that , you’ll take all the money. The lights look really cool, and you have the ability to change them and customized them. The bass is deep enough for long hours of shooting games or racing games. I used these for Fortnite and Rocket league. On fortnite I was able to hear footsteps very clearly along with the Exact direction, my gameplay definitely improved thanks to these. I gave them to my son and he is the happiest kid alive right now. For someone looking for headphones for less than $150 or even for your kids, these are the ones for you, I was able to get them for $99 on sale, and they are perfect for everyday gaming sessions, battery last a long time as well. The mic quality is really good, no complains from friends and you get a nice audio feedback from you voice so you are not shouting. You also have the ability to mute the mic with a button or flip it up for convenience. I was comparing these with the Steelseries 5 and 7 but these sound better and they are wireless with lights. Get them on sale, or price match them, they are worth it.

I'm not a heavy headset user when gaming - mostly I only use one when I get on with friends and we want to voice chat, which is really only once a week at most. Given that, I wasn't exactly in the market for a new set, but one of the things that annoys the most when using my current set is the darn wire - it constantly gets in the way, catches on my armrest, gets rolled over by my chair; it's just a pain. So when I saw an unbeatable sale on this wireless G933, I felt like giving it a shot, and I mostly haven't been disappointed. First off, sound quality is excellent - I can hear things in-game that I never heard with my Logitech 5.1 speaker system. The microphone is also really good, from what I'm told. My friends say I sound great on their end while using Discord for chatting, and I really like that I can mute it by simply flipping it up. Connection is flawless - I simply plug in the USB adapter and Windows automatically switches sound from my speakers to the headphone, and back to speakers when I unplug the adapter. There doesn't appear to be any lag in the wireless connection, and the lack of any wires to snag or roll over is a dream come true! There are a few drawbacks, though. First, the headset is very tight, making it uncomfortable to use for very long - there's a lot of pressure against my ears and jaw line that's just not good. I'm hoping that with some more use it will loosen a bit, but for right now I just can't use it for very long without getting a headache from the pressure. The next issues I have are with the Logitech software. First, sometimes it doesn't detect the headphones when I plug in the adapter, even if I turn them off and on. I have to shut down the software and start it back up in order for it to detect the headset properly, which is a pain. Second, I have yet to find any difference in any of the audio settings - playing around with the equalizer settings doesn't seem to make any difference in sound at all; neither does switching between the surround sound modes. I may be doing something wrong, but I've cycled through all the preset EQ modes while listening to audio without any change in output - I even created a new EQ profile with extreme settings but heard literally no change. I'm really not sure what's going on with it. My final issue is with the battery life, particularly the standby time. On a full charge the software tells me I can get about 8 hours of life with the lights turned off, which is fine given that I use the headset sparingly. But when the headset goes to sleep I'd expect a much longer standby time than I'm getting - in standby, on a full charge, the headset was completely drained by the second day. I'd expect better power conservation in sleep mode, but it is what it is; for now I'm just powering it off when I finish using it, and that seems to work fine. Overall, if you're a hardcore gamer that needs to use headphones a lot, then I'd highly recommend this for the audio quality and wireless convenience. If you're more casual with your headset use and are put off by the G933's price tag, then I'd wait for a good sale, or go with cabled model like the G633 or G630.

First off I love this headset. I have the G910 keyboard and the syncing between the light settings and macro configuration in the Logitech software is great. The white trim, not too outspoken form factor and lighting styles are elegant and not too loud like other gaming gear tends to be. The sound quality both incoming and outgoing from the Mic and the customization and eq settings get pretty in-depth. I love the fact that both physx and Dolby digital 7.1 modes are included; however, I find the physx surround sound setting has a bit too much echo; especially, when I listen to music. But that is personal preference. The Dolby 7.1 is perfect for me. The ear cuffs are comfortable and the weight feels just right. The only "problems" I've had are when I plug in the headset with a charging cable the lighting takes on a bright blue pulsing glow. This is only an issue if I want to charge it overnight as my computer is in my bed room and the light illuminates my bed room. I just cover it with a shirt as I haven't figured out if the charging light setting can be adjusted. Everything else can be though. The only other issue I have run into is that when I use the headset with Discord and I put up the Mic to mute myself most times if I leave myself muted too long then discord fails to pick up my voice again. I either have to disconnect from the call and reconnect or mute unmute in the Logitech software suite for my voice to be heard again. Have no idea why that happens and I just mute myself using discord itself to avoid that but it is still pretty annoying. Only happens with Discord too which is weird. Other then those two gripes the headset has been great and even performs wonderfully on the PS4. Your sound and light settings can even be saved on the pc app and they will be utilized while on console. They do work in wireless mode on PS4 and the audio mixing from multiple sources is superb. Great headset from Logitech. Starting to become a fan.

I'm probably a bit biased as I've never had a truly good headset, but the g933 is incredible. You know how in a good quality movie theatre there's the deep rumbling bass, uber good treble and just great sound in general, to the point that it's almost overwhelming? This is that in a pair of headphones. I was blown away by the range and depth of the sound. The customizer program allows you to make it perfect for you. I love deep rumbling base and this takes the cake. The "bells and whistles" are more than just that, like the foldaway mic and removable side panels that house the USB dongle and replaceable battery are infinitely useful, especially the USB stick storage. The battery life is pretty good, I get a solid 10-11 hours without RGB lighting, about 7-8 hours with lighting. It has pretty good range, and the way it folds inward is probably the best feature. Without that it's extremely uncomfortable to wear around the neck, it practically chokes you, but since they fold inwards to rest on your chest it makes these very comfortable as well as aesthetically pleasing. The wireless feature is definitely worth the extra $30, do yourself a favor and get the wireless. You can always plug in the 3.5mm (to the outlet or the USB dongle itself as it also has a 3.5mm jack) cord if you prefer. Also a little known feature is the USB wireless actually does work on the PS4(or so I've been told) but does not on the Xbox/mobile. I'd like to give it 4.5 stars as Bluetooth would make it truly incredible, but it's almost asking too much with how great it already is. There are also a few pointy edges like where the band extenders meet and the where microphone extends. But this is negligible as the corners can't actually touch your head at all. And they're not sharp enough to cut you or anything, just a bit pointy. I've had very little problems with the headset slipping off if I lean back. You can feel it weighing down and it could slip with a nudge but it stays in place rather well, for me at least. It was a bit of a tight fit at first, but once you wear it in after a couple days it's VERY comfortable!! That cheesy line "you'll forget you're even wearing it" that all headsets have is actually true here. So stick with it if it's a bit tight at first as it'll become extremely comfortable soon enough :) Overall I can't recommend this headset enough. It's not as great as the $250+ headsets, but it comes very, very close. And for the price you just can't beat it. The design and aesthetics are fantastic. You won't be disappointed!
