Friend had several remotes and couldn't find one remote that would control all units and his sound bar, this unit does. Web programming makes for easy replacement also.

It controls the dvd player, tv, cable box and much more. You set up the remote through your computer and then the information is transmitted to the remote via usb. I am open to getting a second remote in the near future.

Can't really review it other than price because on the advice of the installer I upgraded to a Harmony 650 which was much more user friendly. If you are trying to control several different components rather than just have a universal remote for a TV and a cable/satellite box the 650 is probably a better choice.

Not a fan of logitech

Didn't work with my dish box because I have one box controlling two rooms. Got in touch with the support team for help. They took forever to get back to me so I returned it. Not a fan of their support. But I have a second one in a separate room and I have no problems with that. Just wish logitech had contacted me sooner.
