Needs a new remote

This remote does what it is supposed to and works well! It was pretty self explanatory, as far as setup. But I can see if someone doesn't have a lot of computer knowledge, that this could be a difficult set up for them since there isn't much for directions with the remote.

Great Universal Remote

Bought this remote and have been very happy. Super simple online setup and easy to use. It does so much more than my Comcast remote ever dreamed of doing. My puppy's misbehavior was actually a blessing in disguise. Thanks Zoey!!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good: + The remote controls all my devices (different brand TVs, sound bar, U-Verse DVR, projector, receiver) + Reasonable price ($35 on sale) + Can program basically any function to any button. Nice customization. Not good: - Had some issues syncing with the app on my computer at times and had to restart the computer - Had to carefully review the config. For one of my TVs (Vizio), there was a 20-second delay by default after power was pressed. So my remote would just highlight buttons and be non responsive for 20 seconds after your turned on the TV. I thought it was a bad remote at first and almost returned it before doing some research online. I changed the delay to 2 seconds and all is well. - Buttons sometimes lag or don't get pressed when pushing them repeatedly. Fast forwarding my DVR can be tough to time correctly whereas it's not with the original DVR remote. Overall, it does the job at a good price, but don't expect it to be perfect out of the box.

Good remote. But go with the 650

It's a good remote but doesn't have near as many features. If you have more than four devices, you even have to hold a button that already controls one down longer to switch between the two. And if you have a stereo, it won't switch inputs like the 650 would. So...a good remote, but worth the extra to upgrade.
