I have a TIVO HDXL with original remote that is dieing. While the Harmony has many desirable features, it is not a good replacement for my TIVO, even though salesman and literature says so. It has features I like but lacks features I must have. Be very careful to compare functions in detail before purchasing.

Has only one programmable task. There is no learning ability. No back light. In general made a mistake. Probably should have bought the 650. I ordered the Sony for less than $30. It has learning capability and 4 programmable set ups.

Not as user friendly as I had hoped. Returned it for the next model up.

Great remote just doesn't control volume for stereo receiver

Controls most aspects of devices. Have issue with Reciever controls .

my main reason for buying this was for it to turn on all my products at once and to use it in the dark while watching movies. The guy at best buy said it would work with my insignia rear speakers and it didn't. And it doesn't light up any buttons

I still have to turn things on manually from time to time

I had to replace this remote after 2 yrs. The volume buttons simply quit working. Google search shows that this is a common problem. Disappointing for a remote at this price point to not be more durable.

I had geek squad come to sync my four components with this remote and found I needed to upgrade to the 650. I did the upgrade and am happy I did! I would recommend any Harmony product for the right equipment.

I have bachelor of computer engineering degree, and it takes me 2 hours to set, but does not work as it should. First, you need to connect USB cable to back of my PC, not front panel or hub because sometime it just not connect. For some TV or cable box, it already has the key command in the database, and it works at most time. However, for my RCA sound bar, the preset does not work at all. I re-teach the remote using the original remote, and it only work half of time. The remote sometime stuck, or continue send command even I release button. It just cannot do as the original remote does.

The beauty of the Harmony Remotes is that you can change activities and the remote knows the state and setting if each component. With the 350, there is only one activity automated. It acts like a dumb remote for any other activity.

I have two other harmony remotes that I love. This one falls short in all areas of use. Does not stay in sync with the devices. Spend the extra $20 and get the 650. You will be happy you did.

Remote works fine but it is advertised as a Radio Frequency. In reality it only works with IR devices. Defeated the purpose for buying it but it was so cheap that I decided to hold on to it.

I bought this and ended up returning it. This was a cheaper Harmony and didn't have all the functions I wanted. You can change some of the buttons, but feel like I needed more. I also wanted more options for use with my DVR.
