This remote is awesome!! I used to use 4-5 remotes depending what i was doing. Now I only use 1 for everything. I love the display and how eash it is to navigate. Its been over a month and I have yet to charge the remote.

Works great to consolidate all your remotes into one. Easy to use

This is my third Harmony remote and I have no complaints about it. Very easy to setup and a very user friendly remote. The backlight is an added bonus especially in the dark. A very good buy for me.

Great all in one remote. Very easy to use, easy set up

This remote is a great tool. I paid extra for the kind that charges with a cable. It also uses batteries - fortunately. The first time it needed a charge it was not happening with the cable. I called the support people and was on the phone with them for over an hour being walked thru every single trick in their book. They finally gave up and sent me a brand new unit!! It also works well and charges, too.

Love this all in one remote. Easy to figure out even if you are not familiar with all the buttons. Has problem resolving button as well. It is a TAD slower than a previous device we had but it is a negligible difference.

I program uto remotes normally but this was not to bad at all .

Remote was easy to program; simply connect to your PC and follow the simple steps. All of my devices worked with this remote which eliminated the need for multiple remotes.

Love the remote. Had it programmed in minutes. Only had to get out my FOUR other remotes a couple of times since buying this. Two reasons I did not give it Excellent rating is 1. If you accidentally press All Off when everything is already off, then the remote launches a training program and you have to click through several screens to complete the program without a way to cancel, I find this to be a nuisance. 2. So far I haven't figured out how to correct an error in my initial programming, so when I press Watch a Movie it sets all but one device to the correct settings. My goal for the New Year is to get this corrected.

The Harmony 700 universal remote is almost identical to the 600 series we had prior. I purchased it because the buttons on the previous remote were getting worn out and would no longer respond without pushing them very hard. The only drawback is that it doesn't work with my ROKU device as my ROKU uses RF, although from what I understand there are some ROKU that utilize IR signals. The part I like is the rechargeable batteries that last quite a long time, but it is picky on what cords it will use to actually charge, so I use the one that came with the remote.

More features than normal charter remote and easy to use!

You do not have the option to edit buttons that have already been assigned a command. You can only change the command assigned to the button. Another complaint is when you are editing the activities you cannot add a delay between commands. These are not deal breakers. The number of activities that can be setup are sufficient for my system. I saw a lot of complaints about the battery life. I have been experiencing battery life of a month before needing to recharge the remote and even then I just recharged it. There was no indication that I even needed to recharge. Overall I am satisfied with the product.

I bought this when it was the deal of the day so i got it at a great price. However it was very difficult to set up but once i was able to figure out how to set up the activities i liked it. The only downside is it doesn’t work with the firestick or fire tv

Setup was surprisingly very easy and simple. I was able to eliminate four remotes in our living room which was great. Also if we add to our system I am confident this remote will control any new purchases

I would consider this remote to be the sweet spot in the harmony line of remotes. It's relatively inexpensive and works pretty consistently. If you are coming from a standard universal remote, then take the time to properly configure it. The next thing to do is educate family members on how to use it. The biggest rule is probably that you can't turn things on/off with the remote as it confusing things. Next thing is keep the remote pointed at the devices until everything is on/switched. So know that the system has something of a learning curve, but it works great when you get used to it. My wife sent me to get this one when my previous one was 'misplaced'. She's not a techie, but she loves these remotes.
