I thought I could replace up to four remotes with this unit, but in the end, I couldn't get the Logitech unit to figure out how to mimic the functions of each of the existing remotes (I have an LG TV with a point and click remote - that's the one that gave me the most trouble). The timing of the cable box, AV receiver and TV on/off couldn't be effectively synchronized either. I ended up returning it...

Easy setup using computer. Put my TV, cable box, receiver, blue-ray player and hdmi cable switcher on this remote. Lots of buttons that mimic the layout of most common remotes. I don't yet have the hang of switching between devices like turning up the volume on the receiver then pausing the Blue ray. Fits great in my hand, well balanced.

Now I no longer have 73,000 remotes out in the living room. Just one remote and it controls it all no problem. Fixes any problems with the press of a button.

I've dealt with a bunch of the Harmony remotes and have had nothing but positive experience with them. This one is exactly like the Harmony 650, except the color is a bit different and it comes with a rechargeable battery and the charging cord. I've had it for about 5 months now and I've only charged it twice. It's amazing and great for our simple setup. It also controls my xbox one, so that's neat.

I enjoy this remote. While setting it up is not extremely difficult, it is involved to get everything working the way you want, and takes some time. My wife doesn't care to much for it, rather use the multiple remotes as they are more familiar to her. It is a very good remote, just take your time programming it to get the most out of it.

Setting up this remote was relatively easy but recharging the batteries can be a pain

This is such a great remote after you get accustomed to it. Some of the buttons do differently things than you would expect (i.e. the skip button activates the On Demand on my cable box). But once you figure it out, it is awesome. I've had it for 2 months now and have yet to recharge it. It does about 90% of things, so once in a while you have to grab the real remotes, but I'll take 90% of the time.

We had separate remotes for TV, sound bar, and the satellite. Although the satellite remote should have controlled everything, it wouldn't and I got tired of fighting it. I did some research and this remote seemed to a perfect fit for a reasonable price. We've had it for some time now and everyone in the family can use it with ease. Definitely an easy remote for the entire family, not just us techies.

This was a great remote for my main entertainment system. The web based software made programming the remote very easy. Now I have went from four remotes to one. My wife likes this remote better than the last one because it does not have a touch screen. With longer fingernails it's harder to push a button on the screen. This remote is all tactile buttons so she has an easier time operating it.

I like the remote just fine. Easy to set up and very easy to understand. The only rub I have is that it has rechargeable batteries that are recharged via a micro USB cord. It's a little cumbersome to charge. I believe this model is discontinued so the point may be moot anyway. I would recommend this as it does simplify the remotes.

Controls all of my gadgets with no problem plus it comes with rechargable batteries.

I bought this mostly because the Cox Cable box remote is terrible I have a Sharp Roku TV and Google Chrome attached . This device was very simple to program using their web site and it functions well. I would prefer the display was a touch screen, but for the price it is a good value. Well made and good support on their web site.

Not much to say. The Harmony controller works with almost everything. Easy set up.

Bought this remote to replace a broken one that we had for a couple of years. Harmony Remote control is the best available for the money. We have 3 of them for various rooms of the house. I have had them for years. You need to download an app for your PC or MAC and need a Login for the Logitech Harmony site. Setup is fairly straightforward and replacing the broken remote took a few minutes.

Great remote at a good price. I had been searching for a replacement for 4 remotes (TV, Cable box, Home theater and CD carousel) and this is one of the few that includes the "eject" button for the home theater's blu-ray player. Setup was very easy- just input your devices' manufacturer and model, and Logitech even found the CD carousel, which I purchase in 2003. However, their software for downloading is one of the poorest I've seen in my 40+ years in the computer industry. The software seems to "lose track" of the remote, forcing you to disconnect, reconnect and redo what you were trying to do, sometimes multiple times. I tried to set up a task to turn on TV, turn on home theater, select HDMI3 for the home theater, go to home theater's home screen, then select a SMART TV option (arrow down, arrow right twice, and select). I managed to get it all to the home theater's home screen, but the cursor control commands don't work. Overall, I'm happy with the remote, but I have higher expectations for LOGITECH since they've been in the industry for so long, and as a former technical reviewer I rate their software quality as poor.

Ok, I have four remotes to watch a dvd in surround sound. Never bothered me, but when the wife asks me to set up everything for her to watch "her" movies, I knew we had a problem. bought this on sale for less than 50.00. programmed it in about a half hour to watch tv; watch tv in surround; listen to music; listen to cd; watch a dvd....all with one button each. should have done this long ago.

Overall it has been great so far. Fairly easy to set up and I like it! It's a bit touchy and takes some time to understand the in's and out's of it but overall great remote especially for the sales price I got it for. When using netflix on a vizio TV and are fast forwarding you have to hit pause (not play) to make it play from that spot. Not sure if that's a glitch on my end or the remote.

Easy to program. Easy to use. This is the second one I purchased.
