We had been using a harmony universal remote (older). It was having issues with our smart tv, so we purchased this remote. It controls everything we wanted. We were not interested in controlling speakers, stereos, TVs in other parts of the home. It controls our sound bar, smart tv, and DVD player.

Good bargain for the money would be better if everything could be controlled from the one remote

Of all the remotes I have owner, this one has been the best. The only thing that would make it better is if you could rename the remotes in the console. My remotes all says Harmony 700(1), (2), etc. I have to actually click on the remote and click devices to see which remote I need

I have a Harmony Ultimate for my main home theatre set-up and needed a unit for our rec room. I did not need the full features of the Harmony Ultimate and found the Harmony 700 provided everything I needed. For the price it does everything I need and the computer interface for set-up was great.

All off button doesn't always work. I am unsure if what the issue is. It otherwise successfully replaces my chewed up Vizio Soundbar remote that is not available in the market place anymore. Setup was a breeze as it allows you to select the exact model in the windows 10 desktop software.

I've had this remote for over 3 years using the same rechargeable batteris it cane with. After many drops, spills and splashes, and grand daughter play, it finally needed to be replaced. I purchased the same model, plugged it in to my computer to program just like the old one and was up and running in a couple minutes. Highly recommend this brand.

I actually technically downgraded from the "smart" version of this with the hub and purchased this one instead. I really love this remote, although I do suggest spending some time with it to make sure you have all your settings just the way you like it. If you're on the fence and have several remotes, this is absolutely critical to your home theater set up.

This is my second one of these remotes. They are a wonderful universal remote that makes your home entertainment equipment easy to operate with one button on and off. I have never had any electronics that this remote didn't operate. It is easy to program. The battery lasts for a very long time for me before it needs recharging. I highly recommend.

The Logitech Universal Remote is compact and effective. It serves the designed purpose of providing control of multiple devices well. While the device comes with re-chargeable batteries, standard batteries may be used. It does take some time to become acquainted with the button arrangement.

Love these remotes, this was my first one that was programable by computer. It was so easy and the remote is so great will never go without it again. Easy buttons like hit one button for watch TV and it turns on everything TV, Receiver, and Directv. then a one button off eveything. digital display, a must have.

I like this remote for the fact you can program it on your computer and then use with your entertainment center. However, I have an issue with trying to get my Bose system to work with the Watch tv button takes an extra step or two to get the volume adjusted. Otherwise a great product.

Makes things so much more convenient, everything comes on with just one button. Setup is relatively simple, but a little time consuming. Well worth the effort, though. Having a little trouble adding a step to a sequence, otherwise I would give it 5 stars. More than worth what I paid.

I purchased this item on sale to replace the 650 model that had battery contact problems which I researched to be a known issue. That product lasted over 3 years and I expect this one will last just as long. For the customization, the price seemed fair.

I love the Logitech Harmony range of remote control products. I brought the 700 to replace 3 remotes (speaker, tv, cable box). It was easy to set up. All I needed was to get the model numbers. I downloaded the app and input the models numbers and setup the activities. I also have another one for the family room and another for the bedroom.

Programmed without a hitch. Easy to understand and use.

Good all around. Comfortable to hold. Backlit convenience.

After using Logitech's Harmony line of remotes, I wouldn't consider going with anything else. The remote is very straight forward, and if an issue does occur, the help feature makes resolution easily obtainable. Moreover, the fact that the program used to sync the remote is web-based helps to avoid obsolescence.

The Logitech - Harmony 700 8-Device Universal Remote is a great model - I actually retired the more expensive harmony remote I had because it would not always function correctly - would not pick up channel numbers or start the receiver all the time. This unit works perfectly it has not failed me once yet.

I find the remote to be heavy and bulky compared to my other remotes and I don’t particularly like connecting the remote to my computer to add and configure new devices or settings. It does it’s job perfectly and just needs to be charged occasionally.

It does what it supposed to do. If you don't like the touchscreen remotes, this is a great remote to use. Not as great as the 880, but then again, I haven't found a remote that is yet. This is a lower model than my 880, so I wouldn't expect it to be as good, but if I hadn't had the 880 previously, this may have been my favorite remote.
