    Works great but would like to watch regular TV without the new Pioneer receiver (SC-LX501) turned on. Would like to use (turn on) while watching a movie or whenever I choose to. Right now, no matter what I am watching, the Pioneer receiver is on. I am concerned about it possibly spiking my electric bill. I think I need the Geek Squad back for another visit.

    This is actually my second one of these remotes. The first one was amazing. At the time I had time Warner cable. I recently moved to directv and purchased this remote and it works terrible with my directv box. Other than that it is great. I have a Samsung tv and sound bar and it does great.

    One Remote to rule them all. No more need to find them. One Remote to control them all... And it's rechargeable! I have gone from 5 to 1 and could not be more pleased. I may even use it to control the 3 components in my primary music system but since I sit right next to it, that seems unnecessary. I have bought these remotes for friends and family in the past and finally decided I actually needed one. Recommended? Highly.

    I have about 5 different systems hooked up to my TV and wanted a remote that could control all of them and not have all those remotes laying around. You can program this remote to work with anything and if the codes in the book doesn't work it will learn the remote. I got it on sale for $49.00 and was regularly over $100.00. Brought it home and programmed it and went back and got another one for my wife. This remote is awesome.
