    I have several of this model in m home, an when one dies, it is simple to just buy the same unit and upload the setting saved on the logitech website. There are newer units with better software, so I only give this one a 4. I keep using the same model for simplicity.

    This remote works quite well but there are some quirks about it that would make it more user friendly. The volume controls only work with the assigned device that you're controlling. It would be nice if it worked no matter what device was being used. It can be a hassle sometimes to watch cable but if you want the sound louder or softer, you have to switch back to the t.v. or amp to change the volume. Also, this device can be updated and customized while connected to a computer. Despite my best efforts, any changes I make to customize the remote don't get saved. With all that said, this remote works as described but some further refinement is in order.

    This remote is great for putting most devices on one remote but still has some problems turning tv on and off. If I push help button it resolves problem. Does not have a touch screen like my other one which I prefer

    I've used Harmony remotes for years now. The first one got beat up by my kids so I bought a replacement and it's been going great. The rechargeable batteries eventually faded but regular batteries work just fine. I like the remote so much I bought this one as a backup just in case something ever happens to my current one.

    The remote was easy to set up on the computer, just by inputting the device models you have. It was also very easy to set up "instant" buttons, such as turning on the tv, blurayplayer and av receiver, with the volume run on the receiver, bluray start, stop, play, and tv neutral. Truly eliminates all other remotes.

    Although a lot better than having 5 remotes lying around, I still have a little trouble sometimes with some devices, but I have a really old stereo, Apple TV, Xbox One, and DirecTV attached so given all that I still really like it even with occasional issues.

    On the advice of my service technician, I got this remote. Did eliminate at least 2 other remotes. While the wrong buttons sometimes screw things up, the Help button is just that - Help. Yes, I would recomment this type of remote and am very glad I got it.

    This remote works really well for powering up/down multiple devices for different activities, like watching TV, watching a movie (DVD), playing a game, etc. The only con is the number pad is at the bottom and a little difficult to use for changing channels.

    This device is exactly what I was looking for. It has the ability to replace just about any other remote you might have. In my case that was 6 remotes replaced by only one. It controls all devices the same as the original remote, and never misses a beat.
