I thought this remote would be the answer to my many remote problem. It did not communicate with my smart tv the way it should. It does not work with amazon firestick! I returned for another brand.

Has to be aimed just right to turn on multiple devices all at once, so it frequently misses getting them all. Returned it for the more expensive hub-based Harmony Companion which works much better.

I was looking for a remote control to replace the many that control the TV, soundbar, DVD, DVR, VCR... this was advertised as that solution to my problem. I even paid $150 for the Geek Squad to come out and set it up. It still doesn't turn on the soundbar, you need a separate remote for that, and adjustments to color/contrast/any picture setting, must be done on TV remote. Further, the batteries that came with it dies almost immediately, and Ive seen it's power run out again, in only 5 weeks! I wasted about $275 and do not recommend you do the same.

Hard to find one that works at all (4 didn't), and when you do, more trouble than it's worth. Needs charging. Not reliable. Doesn't simplify your life - just different type of complexity.

This Harmony 700 Remote appears to be exactly the same as the 700 found elsewhere under model number 915-000162. Best Buy has this listed as NEW but actually the 700 seems to be discontinued by Logitech. With that being said... it is a great remote. I found this for right around $71, and it can't be beat for that price. Sure, there may be more advanced remotes out there, but I have a hard time justifying spending $200 to 300 on a remote. Set-up can be tedious for first-timers but once you know how, it's easy to go in and customize the buttons however you want by using the logitech software. I was a little disappointed that upgrading from an older Harmony 678 remote to this one didn't maintain all my custom settings when I switched over. I had to spend some time getting everything set up again. Overall it's a great remote.

Set up seemed easy enough but never seems to do what i want. Perhaps I was too impatient but resorted to my "free" Bose controller - much easier.

Very slow. Need to press buttons 3 or 4 times before it works or at time does not respond.

This remote lags. It takes a long time to turn on any of the devices it is hooked up to.

My previous harmony took AA batteries and would not have to be charged. This remote rarely charges and is frustrating.

Most every day I have to use the help button to get all the devices turn on/off as they're programmed to do.

Didn't really like this product. Had to create online profile. Shouldn't be needed tp program a remote.

Purchased to replace a 6yr old Harmony remote with more features($250 model). Dog chewed and damaged one button. The new one works just as good with one exception......... Range. Old one would work from across the room. This one only works within 3-5 feet. Will wait until prices for full featured models come down more and will have to buy again.

I bought one of these on Saturday and attempted to get it set up that evening. I created an account in the 'MyHarmony' software and was immediately greeted by an error message about the remote having an invalid serial number. Logitech help websites indicated that this issue could only be resolved by a replacement remote. Yuck.

After finally getting the blasted thing to do something, it is still not user friendly !

I took it back. It didn't work on my amazon fire stick or sound bar.

We had a lot of issues with this remote and recently replaced it.

Took it back for a refund & purchased a Harmony Smart Control

For the price it did not do much and it can only control 8 devices.

I bought this to avoid changing batteries all the time. I thought it was rechargeable but it does not come with a charger and none of my chargers worked. Logitech said I could just use batteries but that was the whole point in getting a rechargeable device. It was returned
