I have 4 twc dta boxes and one roku box that it would not work Had to return it Needs clearer info

Unusable.Does not work with my Changing 4K TV or my Phillips DVR. It may be useful as a paperweight.

I have done all the instructions and it's not working. Is not compadable with Chrome Books either.

Hard to setup and use. Not the remote I expected for the amount of money it cost.

After a little searching for all the make and model numbers for the devices I wanted to set up (which by the way was the hardest part of set up), I was ready to go. After downloading the software and charging the batteries my Harmony remote was up and running in less than two hours. Programming was a piece of cake, the only thing that would have made it easier is if it would have come pre-programmed. After all, have you ever tried reading that microscopic writing and jumping thru hoops to program those less expensive remotes (hold down these two buttons watch for blinking light and then hopefully put in the correct code)? My only minor complaint would be figuring out all of the buttons on my new Harmony remote. But it works like a champ otherwise. I now have my TV, cable box, soundbar, Roku and Xbox 360 all controlled thru my one remote and if truth be known, one video switch remote (I'm still trying to figure out if I can add that into the mix). Otherwise set-up was easy, almost too easy (which had me a little concerned). But after disconnecting from my computer to my surprise and my delight, EVERYTHING worked. Definitely worth the $50 I paid for, instead of digging thru four remotes (not including the video switch remote).

First... You cannot set this up with a Chromebook. Period. Cannot be done. I'm sure that's stated somewhere but in my (limited) research, I didn't come across this and honestly did not even think to look for compatibility since so many of these items now run off of iOS apps. Not this particular model. You need a PC/Laptop - Windows based or Mac. It cannot be programmed from an app. We only have iPads, iPhones, and a Chromebook now. We have an OLD Windows laptop but I wasn't going to bother. My way around this was to bring the remote to my office which has all Windows based PCs and set it up from there. I was worried this wouldn't work since the instructions state that, basically for best success, you should set this up using a laptop that you place in the same room as the device(s) you plan to control with the remote. Well, I set it up at my office quite a few miles away without an issue. Easy peasy. I was actually surprised it worked when I got back home. The functions aren't foolproof. They don't turn all of my (whole 2) devices on at the same time as it should each time. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It's not a huge deal, I just toggle between the devices and power on one at a time. Still better than multiple remotes. All in all, I paid $40 for this so it's not bad for the money. Had I paid significantly more, I would have returned it.

Thanks to all of the previous reviewers! I purchased this product based on all of the reviews posted here. This remote is incredibly easy to setup and use. The longest part of the configuration was waiting for the batteries to charge which was about 30 minutes. Then I went to Logitech's website, downloaded the desktop software, installed the software, and added my devices. Logitech's software did the rest! I love products and manufacturers like this; simple, straightforward, and fast. I started using the remote immediately. And I love the many features. Great product!!! Great price!!!

This felt like overkill for what I needed in a universal remote, but since the 700 series is discontinued, for the price it was a steal! The remote works great, batteries last long (have had it 3 weeks and haven't had to recharge yet), and the set-up was the easiest! Really impressed with how easy to set-up it was, and that if for some reason a quick button doesn't do what it should, you press the help button and it auto-fixes itself. Super easy to use and very intuitive.

My experience with the Logitech Harmony 700 remote has been perfect so far. Setup wasn't bad at all. I'm using it with my Xbox One, LG TV, and Apple TV. Setting it up can take a little time, but it'll be worth it. I was up and running in less than ten minutes. I haven't had any problems with battery life. I charge it up once a week. It's been a great investment so far.

have only used it for a few days but have had no problems.was fast and easy to set up and program.has great features(,like backlighting,power saver,can program up to 8 devices, 4 activity keys).Just wish it would have come with the ac adapter to charge it.great buy for $49.99 on sale at Best Buy.
