I was searching for a universal remote that would work with my Direct TV satellite as well as the new Vizio TV I recently purchased. I had picked up an el-cheapo one at another store and was sadly disappointed as it didn't work for squat. I read some reviews and websites and decided to get the Harmony remote. Best choice ever. Fairly easy set-up online. My only real complaint is with the Harmony app for the remote. It was SLOOOOOW to respond. So slow. Otherwise it works great. Love that the keys are backlit and lights up when the remote is picked up.

I gave this remote to an older family member. He was able to program is TV, stereo, router, cable box, and stereo. He also mentioned that the remote was able to program with some of his other oddball electronics.

Shame on anyone who's still using more than one remote to control their entertainment system. This is my third Logitech Harmony remote and the 700 gets the job done. Programming is easy to do via computer/laptop. The color screen on the remote is nice but not a big deal. Its batteries seem to last a sufficient amount of time before they need replacing. Four-star rating as it could stand to be more responsive. Definitely worth the investment if you're still running a multi-remote setup!

Logitech has made it so easy to combine up to eight remotes into one with their web application and programming. Before you buy, check on the Logitech web site that your equipment is controllable by a Harmony remote. They cover over 200,000 pieces of gear so it is likely that your stuff is in there. Follow some simple directions, synchronize the remote with a Windows or Mac computer and it is done. I bought the model 700 and the later ones may be even easier. When I had a question, their online support forum users contributed suggestions and guidance quickly. Great group of users who look out for each other.

I have this for over 18 months and it has served us well. It has replaced all our entertainment equipment's original remote. Some functions are standard buttons while some are accessed through the lighted screen. It did drop out of sync several times and this could be avoided by ensuring that the batteries are well charged. I'd recommend charging on a regular basis such as monthly or twice a month. Figure out your need based on your usage. Re-syncing is a PITA but not too bad through the Harmony site. Aside from that, everything else is wonderful including programming, which I only did one time.

This remote is easy to set up and easy to use. The controls are able to be customized and configured however you want. It makes it easy for everyone in the family.

It was so easy to program this remote, it's super easy to use and the fact that ALL the buttons light up as soon as the remote is moved. The display is handy at night to see what the buttons are. Very handy for our kids since they can just push 1 button to switch from cable to to watch a movie. with the 1 touch feature it will switch your TV's input and turn on your DVD player. Very handy.

I have used several universal remotes. The Harmony series are some of the best. The only thing it does not work is my Fire Stick, but that is not IR operated so not the remotes fault. It will do limited function if the CEC is turned on in the tv’s menu.

This is my second one (first needed new battery) Easy setup on line, works well, durable. I drop mine a lot. You can get cheaper remotes but you will reprogram them every time you drop it. Not with this one

Love that I can put away 4-5 remotes now that I have consolidated it to this universal remote. No more looking for missing remotes or dealing with the clutter. Easy to use.

I bought this for my wife because she was always hitting the wrong button on the remote. The backlit buttons have fixed this problem. The backlight activates when you pick up the remote Big bonus is the Watch TV and Watch Movie. These buttons will turn on devices and set inputs as appropriate. I was so impressed with the one I bought for her, I had to get another just for me. And another for the living room, and for my mother-in-law. We have learned that we can use the Activity buttons on both remotes simultaneously to keep them in sync.

Not as many features as some of the more expensive logitech remotes but works flawlessly.

Does what it is supposed to do. 2 Chat sessions w tech support resolved both issues promptly. Keys light up at night. Excellent tech support.

This is an awesome remote control. After initial setup online via USB connection, you can set up all kinds of actions and devices!

Still does not work my Roku,but it works well with everything else.
