Takes a while to set up, but once set up works great!

I have Alexa all over my house controlling my lights, cameras, etc. I bought this unit for the simple reason that I want to be able to say, "Alexa, turn on the TV.." How lazy can I get? Problems started off with setup. Every time you open the app, you have to log in (there's no way to save credentials). That's because every time you have to open the app, it has to "find" the hub...every time. And this is inconsistent, sometimes it finds it, sometimes it doesn't (you have to wait a few minutes). I guess it drops in and out of the Wi-fi Network. Then, it wants you to set up your devices - so I was able to get as far as getting it to control my TV power switch...but getting it to select channels? It gives you this round and round way to select channels and no way to save them so it's a routine. (which is weird because that's supposed to be what it does best). All in all, between having to connect to the hub, to the network and attempting to set it up just to turn on the TV, I spent close to 4 hours...and still not successful. I never got as far as setting up the skill in Alexa (that's because Alexa will only access a pre-setup routine in Hub). You might have a different experience - some people on YouTube certainly do. For me, the headache setup (and my lack of confidence that the product will stay connected tomorrow), the inability to store credentials and the inconsistent Wifi connectivity were enough to make me decide that $12 off the retail price on Black Friday wasn't really a good deal after all. It's going back today...

The Logitech harmony hub makes controlling all my home devices from my phone very convenient. Pairing it up with my Amazon Echo makes it even sweeter. Voice control with Alexa makes turning on & off my electronics easy.

I have the harmony device to control my Xbox, tv, and soundbar. It does a well enough job. Sometimes it doesn’t want to turn on or adjust the soundbar, but that could be the way my remote is set up - don’t know for sure.

Harmony hub + google home + IFTT = greatness! Love it

Easy to set up for a novice, the options appear on your TV screen. eliminates the need for multiple remotes, gives you better control of your sound system. Highly recommend.

Bought this to control my tv and components through Alexa. Already had a harmony remote, so the programming was easily. Works better than I ever expected. A must buy if you already have harmony and Alexa.

Very simple to set up and very intuitive interface via mobile App. Works all devices flawlessly and interstates with Alexa so anyone in the family can operate the TV and components.

Love it I have the one that can control 8 devices do it all from my tablet works on my tivo,tv ,blu-ray-player and soundbar it was easy to set up easy to use

I bought this to control my entertainment devices and it works as advertised. The Hub is basically a universal remote that you can control from your phone or virtual assistants. You setup “Activities” such as “Watch TV” and you just have to select what you want the command to do and which port is being used. I’m using the Hub with Google Home so the one drawback is that if you want to make changes you have to unlink then link again for any updates.

The hub is a solid remote. It is a little glitchy, but if you're patient you can program it to work with all of your equipment.

This is a great remote, setup took a little time but the instructions were straight forward and simple to do. Most of all I finally got a remote that works with all my devices (IR - Bluethooth - Wifi)

Bought a Harmony remote that included the Hub, and was pleasantly surprised. Because of the arrangement of my AV setup, I didn't think that the Hub would be able to get a good line of sight, but because the IR blasters are so powerful they bounce off of the walls so that they indirectly illuminate the sensors. It's become the most reliable remote setup I've owned, and what is really fun is connecting it to my Echo Dots to allow for voice control. The only thing that could be improved would be if the software better supported multiple rooms. I bought another Hub for our bedroom, and we had to set it a second Harmony account in order to allow our Echoes to control the second room.

Works good for basic commands however I came from using and programming URC macros. This product can’t do 1/2 of the what full programming suites can but it didn’t take two weeks to program either.

Love controlling all of my media devices with my voice. Included IR Blaster is a big help as my cabinet had the signals bouncing all over the place. Easy setup through the app. Great investment!

....then you need the Harmony Hub. It allows you to create activities, which are basically scripts that execute the equivalent of “button pushes” on the device remote. Once the activity is created, a single press is all it takes to turn on your entertainment system. It removes the complications of multiple remotes for multiple devices. If your technically challenged family member doesn’t know what source to select for Apple TV, or how to turn the surround sound receiver on, or any other similar issue. Use the Harmony remote to program a one-touch solution. They will love you for it.

Fairly easy setup - not the simplest in the world though. But once you get it set up, it works great with Alexa. Allows us to control our Receiver, TV, TiVo, Bluray Player, etc. Love it!

Getting the device hooked up wasn't really the problem. It was getting all my devices to connect to it. It took a couple tries before everything was working correctly. Still great though.

Works great! I like being able to turn on the TV in the den from any room in the house with an echo device. Easy voice control for a great variety of commands.
