So, I wanted the ability to control stuff with IFTTTservice. Yes you can do it. But, you can only use IFTTT to control automations that have been setup. Because of the nature of the automaions, there is only so much you can do. You cannot exclude certain functions or customize certain aspects that would make it truly customizable to any entertainment unit. This is more a limitation of what I want to do with it. The system works great for working within its limited user interface functionality for your average entertainment system vs my complex home automation with two rooms from one stero. On another note, prior to purchasing I was trying to figure out what iR blasters it came with. It is a single wide angle blaster rather then the one with multipul indivisual blasters.

I have the Hub with the standard Companion remote. This is a must if you want to control all of your devices with one remote, AND voice control abilities. The "Activities" and app are a little cumbersome, but it's great once you get through the initial set up.

I owned a harmony elite unit connected to my living room TV. For the lower level TV needs a remote control connection using my harmony app since the elite remote works only for one TV and the current hub doesn’t give strong signals to the lower level so ended up buying a second smart hub for that purpose. Easy installation and works flawlessly. No issues so far.

I replaced a very old Logitech Harmony with this, so that I can just use my iPhone. I love it - the degree of control it offers as well as how easy it is to change things. Works reliably every time - and best of all, nothing has to be pointed directly at it when you use your phone. Great when your equipment is in another room or behind you.

Just the addition we needed for connecting our Smart TV to Alexa. Also, we don't worry about finding the TV remote. It's now connected to our smart phones.

The remote works great, but it doesn’t integrate well with Alexa for voice commands.

This thing does just what it's programmed to do, most of the time, sometimes we have to turn off and turn on again. There is a lot of things happening.

Love the ability to control my various media products from the house with the remote control - or within the app. When we are in the backyard, I can easily access the hub through the app and turn on the stereo in our living room and make sure our outdoor speakers are operational - and then control them. LOVE IT!

I actually bought this to control a couple window air conditioners through Samsung Smartthings. Although I don't really like the way Logitech handles this through "Activities", it does work great for what I wanted and integrated into Smartthings easily.

Needed a device that allowed me to control my TV with Alexa. This did the trick. Love Home Automation and being able to control everything via voice control and this helped to get my Samsung Q7 TV integrated with Alexa. Worked perfectly and easy to set up.

Easy to setup & works with every remote controlled device I have.

The Logitech - Harmony Home Hub provides my Harmony remote the ability to communicate with all of my TV, video and stereo components without having to leave my cabinet doors open. I do not like to be distracted while watching TV or video by the supporting components or the storage objects that an open cabinet offers. Perhaps I am too compulsive in this manner, but the hub solves my need.

When the hub is connect to everything it works great. Sometime has issues connecting to Firestick. We cut the cable and have Alexa running the entertainment center. Great recommendation from our local Best Buy geek squad rep when we decided to cut cable.

Bought this to automate some of my smart home features with Alexa/IFTTT/Automatic Pro. It's worked great so far, but I wish I had the option of buying the remote that comes with the $129 version. I docked 1 star because they don't see that remote separately.

Had a Harmony 1000. Nothing like it. With all the IR remotes out there this serves it's purpose

We have had harmony remotes for the past 6 or 7 years now and we love them. When we moved the new place had the AV equipment behind a wall so we had to find a new solution. These harmony hubs did the job and are so easy to program. I love that you can use your phone as the remote if you want to but we have paired ours with other harmony remotes.

This makes life easy. If everything is hidden as long as this bad boy is plugged in and the remote can talk to it, it does the job. It brings everything together in one “Harmonious” moment unlike my friend Nick who never shows up for game on!

It makes my busy life so much easier. I bought this to eliminate all of my remotes. I set it up to work with Alexa commands as well. So I could use the companion remote, my voice or my phone to control my entertainment system. It is great. It has only glitched twice but was easy to fix with the harmony app. Also Logitechs customer service is always very helpful. Highly recommend.

I am mostly satisfied with the Harmony Hub, but it has sometimes not worked.
