There is a lot you can do with this remote. If you are someone who fiddles a lot, you might enjoy it. However, for the average person who just wants to use it to watch TV or watch a DVD, this remote will frustrate you to the point of screaming. To do the simplest of tasks, you have to navigate through multiple menus. If you're fast-forwarding on your cable box, the remote will "fall asleep" during the few seconds you're fast-forwarding and you'll have to press play at least twice in order to wake it up, and then have it play. Also, the touch screen is very sensitive. So sensitive, in fact that just the act of picking up the remote will cause you to brush the screen and select one of the actions listed - every single time you pick it up. We put up with this remote for 3 days before returning it.

Really like the remote, but we do end up having to push "help" a lot because something didn't turn on.

The remote was going to be used for our bedroom. I have the Harmony One and the 900. I thought this one would work fine. I was wrong. The ergonomic design in the previous models had set the bar high. The most used buttons were put in place you could touch with ease. With the touch, the menu, guide and exit buttons are at the bottom of the remote, making it impossible to reach these without shifting the remote in your hand. I wasn't pleased with the textured finish on the back of the remote. It is something that looks to wear off with time. Setup process is a pain, but I hear it's that way on all Macs. Here's my biggest issue with this: We bought this for our bedroom. The first night we had it, it had fallen next to me in bed. When I picked it up from beside me, the remote was in German! I spent 30 minutes going through each menu option trying to find out how to change it back to English with no luck. Sad to say, this is not the remote that should have replaced the One in the Harmony's lineup.

Don’t waste your money. This is a piece of junk. From the beginning the key pad would not take a 3 digit number, so I programed favorites and used the up - down key to scroll to the channels I wanted. This function only lasted for 6 months. Also, I had to reprogram the control several times during this 6 months to keep it working.

Great all in one remote. It was a little confusing the first time set up, but once done it's pretty easy to add or remove devices. Also can be used with any IR devices such as ceiling fans, etc.

Son in law's remote quit working, so this was a gift. Harmony makes great products, and he's been pleased with this remote.

Best remote I have ever used. Best Buy needs to bring this back.

Have this remote for the past 3 years and it has worked great.

The remote feels good and looks nice, but its not very useful. I spent a few hours going back and forth between configuration and testing and it just doesn't stand up to my old harmony one. The lack of buttons and the small screen just won't satisfy. First the touch screen is small so you have to scroll alot to get to the commands you want, and the minimal amount of physical buttons leaves you with no choice but to put most of your commands on the small screen. If you want a touch remote get the harmony 1100, if you want a good remote that feels like a remote get the harmony 900 or the harmony one, but the harmony touch is far from a "touch" remote

works with all tvs and is very fast and has good buttons

The remote solves many issues with having multiple remotes but it can be tempermental.

Trying to upgrade from the harmony one to this is counter intuitive... Special button to get into favorites... Alternate buttons to access device buttons and numerical pad cause you to waste more time than necessary... I don't like it and will stay with my one

These remotes are supposed to make things simple. My Original Harmony One is 7 years old and 10 times easier and more accurate then this one. Had to keep pressing help after programming because activities did not work as they were supposed to. No way was I taking the time to teach my wife and kids to use this, way too complicated for them.

well i just spent 4 hours charging it right out of the box. Hooked up the unit and it froze up. Had to due a rest and again it froze up. I am sticking with my 650. it has never let me down yet..This garbage is going right back tommorrow...

do yourself a favor and google "harmony touch cant sync" many people having the same issue where you cannot sync the remote and it is useless. support is equally useless.
