Customers are saying

Customers admire the Harmony Ultimate One 15-Device Universal Remote's ease of use, compatibility with various devices, and its comprehensive feature set. However, some users express concerns regarding battery life, the responsiveness of the touch screen, and the overall design. While many appreciate the streamlined setup process, a few find the price point to be a drawback. The remote's functionality is generally praised, but improvements in certain areas could enhance the user experience.

It’s supposed to simplify control use, not make it more complicated to turn on an apparatus by having to search for it on control

Unable to complete set up process on two computers. Returned device and purchased another with the same problem. Scheduled Geek Squad to help 2 times. Geek Squad sent Best Buy repair person who does NOT work on Harmony device. Returning device and going to Frys to purchase a different device. Phone system at Best Buy/Geeksquad is too difficult and frustrating to use. After attempting to talk to someone 10+ times we are closing our accounts at Best Buy.

I looked forward to trying this one but it did not even connect to my laptop to program. Ended up buying another Logitech 650.

I will rather get up and controls things manually rather than get frustrated using this controller, very laggy.

Or maybe I'm just too old because this remote is inordinately complex. It is pretty though. I use it as bric-a-brac

Difficult to get used to the small keys, and equally small writing on the keys. Not a user friendly device.

    Poor design

I was using the Harmony 880 for years. Nothing wrong, just wanted to get something newer. What a mistake. The price was great on sale ($69). I have to agree with all the negative comments made in posted reviews. PROs: price, ease to setup online, was able to transfer my old setting from my previous 880 model to this easily. Easy to select up to 50 favorite channels using software. Nice. CONs: 1. This unit is hard to hold on to. You need two hands to do many of the features. (With my 880 I could do everything with just one hand). My thumb got sore real quick trying to use the features on the new device. The shape makes is hard to hold. Can't believe Logitech really did much testing on this. Poor design. 2. Too easy to accidently touch a screen button and change from one feature to another. Screen is vey sensitive. Very frustrating. 3. Record/play buttons are at the very top where they are hard to reach. 4. I only got about 2-3 days on a charge with only very limited use. I could go for more than a week with the 880 model. 5. Many times the remote did not turn on or off all three of my devices even though I held the remote steady and directly pointed to them. Had to use the HELP feature many times to turn them on. 6. Many of the functions are burried in menus instead of having direct access on the remote like my old 880. For example: number pad is in a scrollable menu, as is HELP, Eject, and more. Frustrating. I cannot recomment this unit. Logitech did not do a good job on this one. I don't think they make this model anymore because it is not listed on their main Harmony page. I plan on returning this unit and look for another model, probably still a Harmony.

    Great remote!

I purchased this remote over the Thanksgiving holiday because I have been looking at it for some time but just could not justify such a high expense for a remote. But when I saw the deal Best Buy was having on the remote, the price was too good to pass up. Knowing the store was going to be crazy, I purchased the device online and just selected to pick it up at the store. I was glad I did. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with my new device. Setting up the device is really easy. The only problem I had was the application you need to download on your PC to set up the device did not like my PC that was running Windows 10. I kept getting an error saying that the application does not support Windows 8 in Metro mode. Because of my excitement to try this remote out, I just picked up my Windows 7 laptop and got the application loaded. Once the application was installed, set up took maybe 5 minutes. All you need is the manufacturer's name and model number for the devices you wish to have the remote control and the device automatically configures itself to control them. My favorite feature and one of the main reasons I purchased this remote over the other Logitech Harmony remotes, is the "Favorites" feature. Having Verizon FiOS, I have way more channels than I truly ever watch and I wanted a quick and easy way to find my favorite channels at any time. This remote feels that need! I also enjoy the fact that it's rechargeable, saving money on batteries and the docking station provides an easy way to store the device when not in use so you are not left looking all over the place only to find the remote is under a pillow or something. I would highly recommend this remote, especially at the sales price of $69!

I have never been so disappointed with a tech purchase. The supporting software is terrible, the included documentation is wrong (this remote doesn't even show up on myharmony.com they send you to) and it performed worse than my existing remotes. Am returning and will never buy a Harmony again.
