Style over function
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had several Harmony Remotes and have bought and programed them for my sisters, as well. I bought this one after the buttons on my Harmony One started becoming reluctant to work. I tried to fix it by following a YouTube video and ended up killing it. The Harmony One was no longer available, so I bought a Harmony Ultimate One. It is smaller than the Harmony One, because it has eliminated the number pad in favor of touch screen number arrangement. Even using the new "My Harmony" program (as opposed to "Harmony Remote," which proceeded it), it was easy to program. The problems I have with the new Harmony seem to be related to either the design of the keys or the design of my hands. For example, many times when I intend to use the Channel/Page button, it end up hitting the Return key. The design of the keys are much like my original Harmony 880 remote - very stylized and not as practical as the Harmony One. which had more space between the keys. Of course the Harmony One was much larger than the Harmony Ultimate One and had a number pad. However, in the end, it was the number keys that went bad on the Harmony One, so this one should last longer. All and all, I recommend the Harmony Ultimate One because of the ease of programming, but I wish it had simple round buttons.

Best Universal Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a skeptic with this universal remote. It was featured in "Deal of the Day" so I thought I would give it a try. It turned out to be a great decision. I was able to sync it to my LG 4K TV with WebOS, my Bose 300 sound bar and my DirecTV box. It is easy to install/set up with all devices (that are compatible, which is hundreds). I like the capability to add favorite channels and activities base on the capabilities of the hardware, i.e the Harmony remote allows me to set up a short cut to apps on the remote, and shortcut to music since my Bose connect to wifi and you can sync to different music apps. It was a steal for the price. Simply Amazing.

Excellent choice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to navigate use and programming. Logical menu layout with appropriately sized LCD and sleek appearance. Love the station icons, which makes remote sophisticated, while eliminating need to memorize desired channels. Built in troubleshooting option works flawlessly. This remote easily stacks up to another remote I own costing over $1,400 which requires a tech to show up to my home for programming with vendor’s propriety software.

Awesome remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've waited a long time for this to go on sale and I was never wrong that I will love this product. I like that it doesn't require a hub.

Has its quirks.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote itself is pretty good, but the setup took a awhile. my wife was able to start using it right away, but there are some quibbles here and there on having this be the only remote we need. some basic functions, like searching, are more cumbersome with this than the other remotes.

Controllers everything I need it to.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this about a week so far I am liking it. It controllers everything I need it to. I have a gaming PC , PS4, Xbox one and Roku 4 everything but the PC is ran into a Denon x3300 receiver into a Sony 65 900e TV with the computer hooked up directly to TV and sound back to the receiver. After I set the remote up and you will need a PC to set it up, update it and to configure how the remote will work, I am able to press one button and it will change all the inputs on the receiver and TV it will also turn things on. I am able to use it to control my Roku player. The set up is pretty straight forward it took me about 45 mins to get it going. I did take one star away for two reasons. The first being the play, pause, stop buttons are located above the screen and it feels a little awkward but I am getting used to it. The second being the battery life it does seem to die pretty quickly I had to charge it twice in a week. I got this on Cyber Monday so I got it for under $90 which is a great price I could not see paying full price for it though. There is a model above this one that has the buttons under the screen if there is not much difference in price I would recommend that one just for the button placement. I also would have liked the battery's to either be replaceable or upgraded, some rechargeable AA's would have been great but if the batteries ever go bad the wouldn't need to sell you a new one.

This remote does it all.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Logitech Harmony. My first remote lasted well over 8 years and never had any issues except the battery would no longer maintain a charge. I was so satisfied with my first one that I decided to buy another. This remote will control almost anything u program in to it. It is very easy to set up and effortless to use. One buton turns on/off everything. The help feature fixes any issue with ease. My only complaint is that the battery life seems a bit short but I do use it quite a bit every day. I will forever continue to use Logitech for my remote needs.

Q: QuestionWill this control Amazon fire box?, or since the tv is now a 4k smart one, do I even need it?
Asked by Smitty.
- A:Answer Go to https://www.myharmony.com/en-us/ and select "Compatibility" then put in the manufacturers name and model number in the appropriate fields. Sony 65 4k tv Model XBR-65X850D is compatible. So is Amazon Alexa (Echo, Echo Dot) so you can use your voice to turn on the TV and many other functions that are normally available through the remote (with Harmony Remote + Hub). Just having 1 remote for the TV, the Sound bar, the stereo, and the Blue-Ray player has made my coffee table available for other things. That alone is worth it to me.

Q: QuestionIs this a rf system remote?
Asked by kk.
- A:Answer This is primarily an IR remote, but with the Hub and Wifi many "connected home" devices are compatible, from light switches to door locks. Go to https://www.myharmony.com/en-us/ and select "Compatibility" to see if your specific appliance can be controlled by the Harmony remote. I am always surprised by how many things it can control.

Q: Questionhow many macros can you program
Asked by satnut.
- A:Answer I honestly don't know... That's a really good question! We have programmed as many as 6 with no problems. (Many are in complex Theater Rooms) They work very well. Issues? You need to keep the Remote aimed at the Devises until all commands have been sent, or things get out of sync.
