Good, but Harmony Hub better

The Logitech Harmony Ultimate One 15-Device Universal Remote is a great remote, but not nearly as easy to program without the Harmony Hub. Connecting it to a laptop was cumbersome and much of the intuitiveness I have come to expect using the Harmony Hub setup is missing. I would still recommend it as you could always add a Harmony Hub later or use it with your existing Harmony Hub.

I'm still trying to learn all the features of this controller. I think it is probably overkill for our simple home entertainment system consisting of a smart tv, Blu-ray and sound system.

Logitech - Harmony Ultimate One 15-Device Universal Remote - Black - a must buy product if your spouse has problems while changing inputs & your old remote control does not change the input correctly each time. Add the hub & watch Alexa go wild turning on & off the tv & changing channels with simple voice commands. Will take a while to set up all the functions depending on how many devices you are connecting to the remote. If you are connecting less than than 5 devices this might not be the remote for you. But works great if an error is made & you can change the input from the remote direct, which is great. A great product.

I had an older version that was expensive. Loved it! This one, well , some of the buttons dont work. My Cox Cable box cannot be used by this remote. I think the thing that really bothers me is that the battery inside the remote is not changeable. It sits on a charging cradle, but you cant replace the battery to the remote like the older one. So I guess at that point you would toss it out? And the Geek Squad said dont leave it in the charging cradle since that will eat up the battery life. Leave it off till the battery gets really really low then put it back on the charger. Well, great, I always leave mine in the cradle when not in use. So I am going to go back and see what other options i have and go from there. Either way some of the buttons do not work - they are supposed to. And for some reason I thought newer model perhaps newer better options. Not the case. Actually less than my other one. Go figure.

So far it is in the box, but I am optimistic by the appearance it will be great.
Sometimes the brilliant colors of the box and the catchy phrases say it all.
When we do finally get it open and begin playing, I'm sure that all of the family will be very impressed and the marketing genius's will have earned their pay.

The product works as advertised. I'm not sure how useful it is if you don't have an advance smart home but it can turn on my Xbox, TV, and sound system at once

This is my second Logitech remote. I have been very happy my Logitech 650 remote so bought this one during Best Buy's Black Friday deal days. Logitech's application to setup, save and update remote's function steps is very easy to use. Once programmed, the descriptive labels on the touchscreen make it a no brainer to use the remote to control multiple audio video devices. Getting back the precious real estate on your coffee table cluttered with multiple remotes and not searching for the correct remote in dark while watching a movie or TV show in dark are the benefits whole family appreciates.

Didn't know how far they've come with universal remotes in the last five years. This is an amazing leap in technology since my last remote. Easy to set up using a computer. Just plug it in and follow the steps. It ask how you've set up your system and your model numbers. That's it! Unplug it from your computer and you're ready to go. It has a digital screen that behaves much like a smart phone.
You choose " Whatch TV" , "Whatch DVD" etc. You can also have custom settings like; " "Play Pandora" click your choice and it does all the work.
If something doesn't come on right. Like if you don't point it right, just click "Fix" and it will correct and issue you have.
No more batteries! It's rechargeable with a base.

I needed to upgrade my Logitech Harmony One remote because it would not control my cable box. The Harmony Ultimate One handles controlling my cable box and all my devices perfectly. I just wish there was voice control on this remote. Other than that it’s the perfect remote for me!

Having used Harmony remotes for many years, now, I purchased this to upgrade my 900. I simply moved the 900 to work with my bedroom tv and installed this one for the Living room system, including Bluray player, AV receiver and DTV box. Seamless and simple programing makes this remote one of the slickest I've every had. In fact, my neighbor tried my remote and had me pick one up for him.

I have a Bose Soundbar and it did not play well with my tv, even through ARC. This remote (and a harmony hub) removed all frustration. I am able to set scripts easily that will turn on or off multiple components while also setting appropriate inputs.
This allows me to be controlling my tv or my Xbox with the remote but the remote is smart enough to know to send my soundbar the signal when I press volume buttons.
The harmony hub gives better range to the remote as it includes an it repeater you can place further away if the remote doesn’t make direct contact with a component (behind tv or in a cabinet).

The concept of a single remote controlling all of the devices is great, and the touch screen idea was even better. However, the response of the actions are delayed, whenever the touch screen is locked, all of the functions are locked out. I would wait for a better executed remote before spending the money.

If you are used to the older harmony remotes, you may find the touch screen a little less user friendly. We were needing to replace an older remote. It has taken a little bit getting used to, but overall this is a solid 4 stars. It feels good in the hand but could use a little better touch screen responses. If you find this item on sale, I would recommend it.

I got this remote on sale and it is worth the $65 sale price. I was worried about the placement of the DVR control buttons at the top of the remote but they are ok. It would be better if they were blow the touch screen. My wife loves this remote and says it is the best one that I have purchased. I have had 3 other Harmony remotes in the past and this one is the easiest to use.

Does the job. I have an older harmony with more buttons which I prefer vs scrolling through screen to get to the button I need. Not the best hand mold.

I have successfully removed 6 remote controllers from my entertainment system with this one device. Even though I must turn on 3 seperate devices just to watch tv, this remote can learn to perform everything that is needed with a swipe of the finger. You may still need your originals from time to time, but this fantastic remote takes control of all your devices, no matter who made it, or when. I highly recommend it to anyone with more than one remote to deal with.
One important note. If you have your devices spread around the room, or within a cabinet, you will probably want to spring for the hub, which allows you to control items that the remote isn't pointed at. Awesome unit!
