It lets you toggle between standard and enhanced key functions on your Mac, displays battery status, and more.     Love this thing! Can't believe it's a 2015 model. The mouse pad could be a smidge bigger and needs a back light option, I use this on my bed an I can't see the keys when the light is off for media control.
