Because you need to plug in a usb connector into your device for it to talk to the keyboard you can't use a mouse as well unless you have 2 usb ports. It has a track pad, but it's not that good... but for the price I guess it's great...no major complaint, works with my phone and my bargain tablet...does what I need, so far so good.

It lights up and pretty handy I dig it and goes a long way

The biggest improvement​s over the standard k400 are the dedicated volume keys and the full size right shift key. The aesthetics are better as well. I would like if they would release a backlit variant. That's really the only thing missing. I own this, the original k400, and the k410. All of which are still working. Solid product line.

I was expecting to use this only when my old favorite wired keyboard's cord was not long enough. However, it is now my fav and the old keyboard is on the shelf, a relic of the past. It seems very durable in spite of light weight. I love the layout. It was a plug n play hit from the first use. Too bad I resisted change for so long.
