Do not buy if you want to connect it to your TV will not work sucks

Bought for my Samsung Smart tv. Not compatible in many ways. Not a good product for smart tv

My new samsung 8500 series is not able to detect this keyboard. Hence, I am going to return it.

My daughter, who is an expert on electronic devices, thinks it's a piece of junk.

Could not get keyboard to work with you tube. Spend a few more dollars this item is rubbish.!

The Logitech - K400 Plus Wireless Keyboard - Black is not very user friendly.

The select button did not work on the tv - other buttons did not work either with the tv

Got this to use with smart TV. Did not work very well. Ended up returning it.

Had it for less than 2 weeks and just stopped working.

I purchased this in store, as well as online. All of my TVs have this keyboard/touchpad and works beautifully. In total, I have purchased 6 of these in the last few months, replacing the ones i had. It's compact, but not too small that it's unusable. The touchpad is very responsive and the battery life is reasonable. The friends whom have seen it also ended up buying it as well.

I've owned two of the original K400 keyboards. The first one had the touch-pad die after 2 years, the second didn't survive a short drop onto a carpeted floor. Hopefully, this new model has a bit better quality control. The Plus appears almost identical to the original K400. The volume keys are easier to reach above the touchpad, the mouse buttons are a bit smaller and more difficult to use. The keys have more travel, better feedback and feel more like a regular keyboard. The keyboard layout is excellent for a media keyboard. The alphabet keys are full sized, and touch typing is easy. Many of the minor keys (Ctrl, Alt, etc) are half sized. The Plus has a slightly better layout than the original, with full sized Shift and Enter keys. The touch-pad is an excellent multi-touch that supports two-finger scrolling, panning and tap-to-left-click (assuming your OS has these features, of course). The keyboard is Android friendly if you have a USB adapter on your Android (however, not all versions of Android have the K400 driver). The volume Up and Mute keys work in Mint Linux, but not the volume Down key.

A family member needed a new keyboard since their laptop keyboard is on the fritz. It registers extra inputs even if the user types perfectly without error. I heard ASUS laptops frequently have keyboard problems...and upon doing some more research? Yep. Anyhow, Logitech makes great quality products for minimal investment by the consumer. This is exactly what my family member needed. A sturdy keyboard that runs flawless with her laptop because of the aforementioned problems. It has plenty of bonuses - the trackpad included (despite replacing the NumPad), easy setup with smart TVs like what Samsung offers, and pretty great battery life (18 hours). At first I thought a Bluetooth keyboard would be preferable, but upon doing research again, they can sometimes cut in and out depending on what device you're using them with, so it's not ideal. Despite this, using a USB tongle might not be the best for everyone's situations. Sometimes you don't have extra USB ports and hubs are atrocious in certain setups, especially if it's an entertainment center or minimalist desk setup. Either way, 5 out of 5. Can't have it all.
