They have worked well when the keyboard is within 5 feet or so of the USB dongle on the PC. I tried this keyboard at home with my 70" Vizio smart TV. It is hit or miss (more miss) when trying to type to search using the browser or other apps on the TV. The TV is 15' from the couch and keyboard. So not good for that scenario, but works well for shorter distances.
