Great cameras. Night vision is excellent. Some cameras have a glare at night when another light is in view. These let you see despite the other light and there is hardly any glare making the clarity in comparison literally night and day. You not only see who' s sneaking out at night but you see it in detail. Cant beat the price and quality. Nice app. Great buy

This system is top notch. The bullet cameras look and feel high quality. The installation and setup is pretty straigh forward. Configuring the system to your needs is a bit of a hussle especially when it comes to the motion detection and spot light activation. Spotlight is ok but not great.

This system will drive you nuts. Out of the 8 cameras not one single one does the audio work. Get notifications for a vehicle in my back yard, no way could there be and my dogs are not big enough to be mistaken for a car. Have your car parked in front of your house every couple of minutes you get a notification that a vehicle is there. Yes it's there do you have to tell me every 3 minutes it's parked there for hours!!!! The app is seriously lacking it's more of a snapshot of the camera app can't stream, it's not a speed issue it's a lorex issue. Same thing with viewing notifications takes several minutes and multiple tries. It truly isn't worth the hassle I've had cheaper systems that worked better than this one.

These cameras are great, easy to install and set up. The image quality is awesome and it provides a detail that I haven't seen in any of the other popular brands. One thing that got my attention is that there are no monthly subscriptions or delays on the recording while using the mobile app. Be aware that these cameras do not have capabilities of two-way talk, in other words, you will not have the option to talk or listen. Finally, the mobile app works good but the image quality is not that good, hopefully, Lorex can improve this feature in the future.

I did my best to make the camera Record sound as it says in the feature that they does !!! I cant so i have 8 cameras non can record voice ? !! . The picture Quality is not bad its allright .. camera do a lot of mistakes that drive u crazy like it says person detected in your backyard while its mosquito or its raning and dripping close to the Camera ,???

The video quality is amazing on these cameras. I am giving this a 5 star review largely because of how easy it is to install. I would recommend this to a friend

This system does a great job day and night if you're not afraid of a wired system. I was fortunate and our home exterior was being remodeled so I ran it thru the attic and into the soffits. The clarity on the night vision is better than any other system I have used. I am still playing with the advanced features but the system should only get better.

This camera system is very simple to install and set up. The phone app works great by sending motion alerts. Many settings can be made via the app, with some needing to actually be set directly on the DVR. Camera housings/mounts are all plastic so simply be careful during install and adjusting. It is overall a great "entry level/basic" camera system for the average homeowner.

We purchased this camera system to keep an eye on our house. The 110 degree view is amazing. We bought the 8-camera pack and every inch of our property is visible on the camera. Setup was a breeze, you will need a recent TV, we tried to use an older one & it didn’t work. My husband didn’t have to get extender cables for 2 of the cameras, but other than that, the length of the cords is great.

It was very easy to install. Just need a helper to bring the wires up the Attic. Still learning how to work it but so far so good I guess just want to learn how to use the mic and I hear no sounds

Very satisfied with this high quality camera set! Just wished it included audio, also, I got a bad receiver when I purchased it, I was receiving zero notifications, but Lorex was quick into troubleshooting and sending a new one which solved the issue! High quality recording!

Clear videos easy to instoll dvr looks nice 8 camera

Installed using existing wire that I already had ran from my old camera system. So far, so good. Picture is much clearer than my previous system. Hopefully the system will last longer than my old cameras.

My Lorex 4K 8 Camera was everything it is advertised to be. The video is great and it's very easy to use. I recommend it to anyone in the market for a reasonanly priced very good surveillance system.

System is pretty easy to set up. Install cameras , run cables , plug in. Very satisfied with quality , picture is clear , night mode with infared is clear. Overall , very satisfied.

Very easy to setup. Connect cables and power on the DVR. 60-ft cables that come with the cameras are plenty of length to mount the cameras around the house. Remember that you cannot use your older cables if you had previous cable. It will not be compatible or able to handle the 4K signal. The Lorex app is also very responsive. You can switch between standard quality when viewing remotely or switch it to high-definition quality. I like the ability to turn on the flash-light remotely as well. I do wish you can have multiple accounts to access the camera system. It appears it can only be associated with one account/email address.

Clear as day, provides the peace of mind that our home is monitored and secure. The quality is worth the price. Setup took a little extra attention but it wasn't bad.

Place cameras inside and outside without having to use separate systems. I love the features of the Lorex Surveillance System. Virtual fence, motion detection and face recognition with alerts through the Lorex app keep you updated on everything happening around your home (covered area). The video quality produced by the cameras is exquisite. Even the night video feed is miraculously clear at a pretty nice distance, so no matter the time of day I have exceptional view of my home. Thanks to the Lorex app, I can view my home when I'm away. Each camera produces a wide area view so you can see everything that is in front of the placement area without blindspots on the side. Simply amazing. Installation of the system is fairly simple. Depending on the position of your cameras, you will not have any difficulties installing them. The system includes wires long enough for most installations. It is simple to connect the system to a monitor if you want to view the cameras from a screen. The 2TB storage drive is adequate for me. You can adjust the resolution of the video if you want to record more footage before overwriting previous recordings. Alternatively, the storage capacity can be increased up to 8TB which is phenomenal. That capacity will house a few days of data at 4K resolution as the system uses a pretty good bitrate. The hardware is very durable. The camera housing is built to withstand the elements so no need to worry about water or even snow which is good because we get both in my region. The cameras are mountable in various angles which is perfect for external and internal mounting applications. It is the perfect security camera system for homes of all sizes, yet it excels with larger spaces.
