I returned the cameras. I was not impressed with this system at all, The BNC cable connections were difficult to attach and almost impossible to take off, and there is no indication as to which end of the cable attaches to the DVR and which end goes to the camera, it does make a difference. Though the setup wizard was simple, there is no way to go back and redo the wizard after the initial setup, or to manually set the video format. Our system would not detect all of the cameras at the same time, and we could not redo the setup or manual adjust anything. The phone app has very little functionality, and only allows one user to have an account, so you will have to decide who is going to have it installed on their phone if there is more than one person in your household. The siren/lights are a joke, note bright or loud at all, and of the 3 cameras that worked, only 2 made noise.

The product is great. However the customer service is awful. We are still trying to get someone to come back out and hide the wires and make the picture lighter for night viewing. We really have been getting the run around. I will not be buying anything else from Best Buy that has to be installed.

Could be better My issue is that I have the flashing set of cameras added these now none of them work. Totally let down.

I would have to say that Installation was extensive if done with class lol But the reason I keep this from a 5 star review is because the interface is not very user friendly and the app needs a lot of work. I can hear or set LED lights on motion detection. For the price I expected a better product. Other wise, the picture is what you would expect. "4K UHD" must mean it looks like an old UFO recording now days. IDK how people get theirs to look hella fresh. To Lorex: Please invest more effort on the Iphone app please.

Cameras work great BUT AVOID BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD INSTALLATION! We waited two months with two different contractors they sent out who had no clue how to install them. We ended up just cancelling the installation and paying a contractor we found who actually knew what they were doing. Working with Best Buy over the phone is MISERABLE because they outsource their services overseas and people did not understand what we were talking about.

Seems like this is high quality equipment and camera abilities. We appreciate the Geek squads attention to schedule and input on camera locations. These work MUCH better than the ADT wireless installed cameras that we removed.

Super nice basic camera system...fixing to install same one at another site. It DOES NOT have a true night vision...it uses LEDs for a night light which I do not like so either make sure your area is well lit or find a different system.

This set was the best at the price point. The 4 cameras were a great start and to have the unit ready for 4 more was what sold me. The app is good but not great. The quality of video is legit though so That to me is what is important.

these two gentlemen were so good to do what they had to do here and in the rain. I am not sure if you could have any employees like them. Very pleasant and knowledgeable .If I had a business I would love to have them working for me

Very nice surveillance camera system for the money. Eight cameras gives you a pretty good eye on on what’s going on inside and out. The control unit although equipped with plenty of storage is small and a pleasure to conceal

Average cameras. Unfortunately the sales person didn’t tell me this system does not have sound. I’m quite disappointed that there isn’t sound. I wanted to return it but unfortunately I can’t because Geeksquad installed it I just think it would be difficult to do so. The 2tb hard rice is nice and it’s super easy to customize. I just with I had different cameras. Lores is great otherwise. I contacted them regarding sound and I was sold the wrong system. Again I wish the sales person knew more about the product

did not purchase this item! went with Blink, what a mistake. never recommend Blink to my worst enemy. First box had a bad control system, wasted three days, since I am not an IT man. Second box had one bad camera, the Geek squad wasted over three hours trying to fix the problem-no luck. Blink will send a new camera. So two different purchases and both boxes had bad parts. Poor service, poor instructions, and I wasted over 30 hours. NEVER again. I guess you can assume I won't recommend this!!!

Love having 4 cameras to see all areas around my home. Unfortunately one camera stopped working so will have to call and find out what to do about it. Otherwise very good system.

The features seemed like this was perfect for me but once I got it I realized it was wired and returned for wireless.

excellent product. my husband installed them by himself. Although he had to climb in our attic the outcome is amazing. Unlike a lot of these other products, this one records constantly and you can playback.

Note: The unit does not support audio, despite coming with audio cables. Lorex Technical Support verified after the unit was purchased, installed and audio could not be obtained. The system provides clear imagery, even in low light conditions. Alerts for motion are prompt to your phone. My primary complaint is it was sold as providing audio. It does not. For the price, audio should be a capability...

The cameras were easy to install i have it connected on my phone and on my tv. The quality of pictures is okay, the only bad party is that there is no audio.

No one likes climbing through their attic but that wasn’t going to stop me. Took me about 4 total hours to run the wires to each camera position, install cameras, and set up the dvr.

After having these cameras for almost 2 years, I can safely say I'm not too entirely happy with them. About 6 months in, i started to have picture issues with the video due to the cameras. At another point i was locked out of my account for about a month with no solution from the manufacturer until about 3 weeks in. In my personal experience with them, i would not recommend them.

Great value with eight cameras and a DVR box, easy to set up and easy to view from your phone at any time. Systems like these save thousands of dollars while still having amazing quality and resolution.
