Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the smooth gameplay and graphics of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, along with the well-implemented 3D features and fun, engaging story. Many found the game to be a good challenge, easy to use, and enjoyable for players of all ages. However, some players mentioned the need for more frequent save points and expressed minor concerns about the amount of backtracking required. The game's controls were also generally praised for being intuitive and responsive.

Perfect gift for my nephew's birthday. So many games are not age appropriate, but don't fear this one is!

It's not a bad game, but I find it easy to stop playing it. It's kinda nice to see Luigi in the limelight.

I purchased this game for my 8 year old but some of the combination button moves are a little tough for him. It's nothing like any of the Mario games.

This game is a really fun one. You play as Luigi sucking up ghosts to stop the haunting at different locations. This game is so fun on the go and the 3D looks great if you do like it turned on. My only minor complaint is that each level in a location usually requires some backtracking of some sort. So, at each of the locations you have about 5 missions which have different objectives and rooms but they do involve a lot of the same location to play through.

Great game, Only having ever played 3DS version

I have never played any other version of this game, I had little interest in this game until I went to a Target and played their demo of it and had to have it. It's basically like a ghost busting game, but it's really a lot of fun! You creep around a mansion, jostling up drawers and others things in the house, looking for coins and ghosts. You wear a backpack vacuum that you suck the ghosts in after first shining a light on them to stun them. The game has good direction, meaning theres a guy that gives a story line of what you need to do next in the house, and you'll see your missions to accomplish on the screen. You collect keys to unlock doors too. Sucking a ghost in your machine is a little challenge but its not hard. But it brings the thrill to the game. I would recommend this game for anyone who likes a mystery style game and can read. There are 3 save slots, you have to unlock multiplayer by playing single player. It is not readily available. Saving the game, it saves automatically after every mission is completed and your taken back in to the room with the guy, I think its a control room.
