Super power. This box has so much more power for running photography software. You can always buy an HD monitor for much cheaper. Happy with this purchase

I’ve been a Linux and Windows user my entire life, and I’ve been a networking engineer in the IT field for almost a decade now. I got sick of the flashy RGB look of other computers that were capable of supporting my 5 displays, and thus the Studio was born. This thing can support up to 5 monitors at 6k resolution, which is just unreal. This thing shreds all of my workloads and multitasking: Programming, Web Browsing, Zoom Conferences, etc. I will never return to anything but Apple for my business device.

My review score is more representative of the buying experience from Best Buy. Granted the shipping was fast, so thanks to the people who were involved in that. My problem there is no price matching from Apple’s education store which knocks $200 off the price of the Mac studio. In addition to that you get 5% off if you use an Apple Card. That’s nearly $300 off if you order from Apple. From Best Buy apple computers are EXCLUDED from going towards your points so sadly my choice of choosing to purchase such an expensive computer from Best Buy cost me ~$300 more than if I ordered it from Apple themselves. As for the computer it’s a Mac, you get what you’re anticipating. Less power than an equally priced windows computer, but you great design and integration with your other Apple devices. It is noticeably smoother than my previous iMac (go figure as it was 5 years old), but the price I paid via purchasing from Best Buy makes me wish I would’ve saved $300 and ordered from Apple themselves.

Performance is not as expected it hangs when I try to take Time Machine options and also external ssd. Some issue with device I never had this experience with my M1 Mac mini

Great Computer! Been using for a while now to edit video. We edit 4k videos on this and it’s very fast. Beats the old Mac pros! Drives are also very fast! Good price from BB!

Software is crap compared to Windows software. My system has crashed, I can't remember the last time my Windows 10 computer crashed. I realized there should be a learning curve to overcome when switching Operating Systems, but I have found it easy to adjust Mac OS. The hardest thing is the RED X to close a program is on the opposite side. I really think I would been better off buying an Microsoft surface.

Run, dont walk to get this powerful computer. Nothing slows this thing down. Have not opened all of its potential but very happy so far.

So far no complaints, im a photographer, all adobe apps work so smooth, specially Premier Pro.

This computer is a monster. Perfect compliment to my macbook pro. Hopefully (and likely) the last computer I buy for the next 10+ years.

This is an amazing computer. My wife is a photographer and was previously running a 2017 Mac Mini. The upgrade to this computer was huge! However, I had to return this one to Best Buy and buy one directly from Apple, as Best Buy doesn't sell the larger SDD option, which was disappointing. Wish BB would carry more Mac options.

Great system and very powerful. You have to buy a screen, which is the only problem. Works great for graphic design.
