    I purchased a supposedly new MacBook Air from this store, but it arrived with a serious battery defect. I returned the item on the next business day and requested a refund. After one week, I received an email from them questioning alleged scratches that did not exist when the item arrived at my home nor when I returned it. The store then refused to issue the refund, which I formally disputed. Since then, three weeks have passed and they have only continued to stall without providing a resolution. Best Buy has not mediated the situation, and I see no alternative other than taking legal action. This store needs to be formally notified, as I have seen that I am not the first customer to be harmed by this practice.

    This was suppose to be an Open-Box Excellent - Certified condition however it had some substantial scrtaches. If I had the option I would have returned to BestBuy to be replaced however it was purchased to be delivered in another state.
