    My 8 year old MacBook Pro finally died so it was time for an upgrade but I only had a limited budget so I could not afford the newer m2 MacBook Air and this M1 version was on sale for 749! This is impressive unit. I can easily edit 4k movies.. yes it’s a littler slower than the newer m2 chips but I am only doing this for a hobby and it’s still snappy. It’s an apple build quality is top notch.

    I like the computer. You don’t have to charge it for several days if you not watching movies. Very long charge life is a plus. What I feel Apple is not good is instructions how to use features. I have to go to Apple reps to get info which I don’t like. I prefer a instructional booklet. That’s just me!

    Great laptop. It is super fast and never gets too hot. The M1 runs Intel apps faster than my older MacBook. Was skeptical about the 8GB ram but so far it has not been an issue.
