First time Mac user; switched from PC. This computer blows away any that I have ever used. It is so ridiculously fast! It hasnt even thought about getting warm ever, even through long movie streaming (binging!) sessions. The battery life is outstanding. So easy to switch to the Apple ecosystem this year. Went from android to iPhone, and now this MacBook Air. Only regret is that I didn’t switch sooner. Got a fantastic deal on a great piece of hardware!

I underestimated how powerful, light, and versatile these machines are. For everyday computing, this is hands-down the best laptop on the market, even with the newer models out. TODAY - more than two years after it's initial release, I WOULD BUY ANOTHER M1 Macbook Air IF given the choice. The M1 is fast, it has excellent battery life, good speakers, and connectivity via hub/docking station turn it into a powerhouse.

    Perfect for Medical School!

Perfect for med students. The device is light and easily portable with a long battery life - I am able to go through a whole day of lectures from 8am to 8pm without recharging the device. Has a good amount of storage - the speed and functionality of the device are not compromised by the large use of storage that I can tell so far. I find that 8GB of RAM is sufficient enough for med school especially if you save everything to the cloud/office365/Google Drive. The only downside is unable to have different lock screen wallpaper from desktop wallpaper.

Cheaper than the Apple Edu store!

I feel like I got this 2020 Macbook Air at a super reasonable price. I weighed up my options between the M1 and M2 chip models, but didn’t feel like I needed to spend so much just to have the newer and latest model. While I’m sure the M2 models are great (and a step up), the reviews for the 2020 Macbook Air still really sell them as awesome laptops - so I decided to buy it and what a great discounted price Best Buy offers…it’s cheaper than getting it from the Apple Education store!

I am a college student and was looking to get my first ever laptop. I've always used Windows OS but after using MacOS, I can't believe I was missing it the entire time. The optimization, simplistic UI, and you simply can't overlook the speed of M1 chip in this thing. On top of that, you will get a 2560x1600 resolution which I must say, is "crisp". I prefer Air because of it's size, portability, and battery can suffice for more than a day's work. 10/10 recommend it ;)

Couldn't be happier. Long-time Mac and current 27" iMac user here, and after reading tons of reviews on the current (M1) line, it was pretty clear that the 13" M1 MacBook Air was the right choice for me in terms of power, portability, and price point. I had an 11" MacBookAir years back that I loved, and I love this one even more. Best Buy was great... my new Air came right away, much faster than other shops were offering. Highly recommend!

Bought this not doing research so this is technically my fault but I thought this MacBook would have usb ports but no it comes with USBc ports which was frustrating other then that it's pretty good it does overheat but that rarely when I'm playing games to max settings very useful tho fast and reliable only thing I hate is it does t have usb only USBc wich means to connect usb connections you will need to buy a separate device to connect this usb other hand it has no sd card slot which was a bummer because once again I had to buy a device that had a SD card reader other then that the device works really well fast but no USB ports.

Great laptop at a great price. While the MacBook Air is a great machine at the starting price, I was able to snag a Black Friday sale coupled with an open box deal, which made it hard to pass up. This computer is an excellent computer to achieve most user’s needs. It is a productivity dream, but it is able to handle video editing (to meet my needs), photo editing, along with other demanding tasks without showing fatigue. The screen on this laptop is gorgeous, the Touch ID is quick and a wonderful addition to a personal computer, the keyboard is best in class (so much better than those butterfly keyboards of old), and all of this in a thin, light machine. I love the portability of this computer, as it will be a main computer and a travel companion. Anything that needs pulled up feels as if it is waiting on demand - everything just snaps up and loads so quickly. The only complaint I have with the MacBook Air is its battery capacity. I will not deduct a star for the battery capacity because it will pretty much make it through an eight hour work day of productivity tasks including surfing the web, streaming and air playing video, and typing documents. After the eight hours have passed, the computer is on fumes and needs charged. This does meet my needs, though my three year old MacBook Pro did do better on lasting my daily needs. I am always near a charging outlet and charger, so this isn’t a huge deal, but I worry about battery degradation. This computer is such a powerhouse in such a small package and at a relatively affordable price considering what you get and after paying the Apple premium. It makes light work of all the tasks I throw at it. I definitely recommend this comptuer.

I love the color! It definitely does not weigh as much as my MacBook Pro and it is easy to use and easy to transfer my information from the Pro to the Air. Battery life is definitely better, but if you need to use your device often throughout the day, you should definitely carry your charger with you.

I was in market for a laptop after about six years (yeah yeah.. I know you might think I am cheap but I think I 1) buy relatively quality products (conditioned on my affordability) and 2) simply take care of the things hence they last longer. I am generally on my laptop at least 16 hours every day and I mean to the last minute... I normally have around 5 pdf books open, 3-5 presentations, at least 20-30 large excel sheets, 10ish tabs in my browser including youtube and a programming language interface. You might have guessed that I am a very light user of laptop.. I have tried 4 laptops before settling in with this MacBook Air. All of these had at least one of the below issues: 1) fan noise 2) bad keyboard ergonomics 3) heating issues 4) relatively slow despite of having latest core i7 and 16 GB RAMs 5) very expensive..not value for the money This MacBook ticks all the boxes and does not suffer from any of the above issues..ok,ok, I get it, I agree it is a bit on the expensive side but it is still a good value for the money...In short, BUY it you will not REGRET it!!

I can't say enough good things about the M1 chip. The performance this laptop delivers is absolutely insane. This thing even outperforms my desktop gaming PC in some CPU tasks. Not to mention the battery life is easily 15+ hours on a charge. It never gets hot, and there is no fan noise. Apple has made a truly impressive computer with this one. It really is the ultimate laptop

I absolutely love this little MacBook Air. I needed something smaller than my HP to take to work or other places. It’s amazing on battery, beautiful screen and colors, fast and I absolutely love the ease of use. I have mostly Apple products and this makes it easier to do everything. I use this MacBook Air for everything except gaming lol

Purchased this for my parents whose primary computer was an aging HP desktop equipped with Windows 7. This was their first laptop, and also their first experience with MacOS. They both are iPhone and iPad users, so the migration to a Mac made more sense than for them to attempt to navigate Windows 11. The Air is perfect for their basic computing needs that consist mostly of light web browsing, emailing, and composing Word and Excel documents. The setup was as easy as expected for two individuals who are already a part of the Apple ecosystem. I did assist in the download and installation process of several software titles and apps, and I was very impressed with the speed of the system. I personally use the M1 MacBook Pro and it seemed even snappier than my own device. Battery life seems to be great, if not quite as good as the Pro version. Easily will get a few days of average use out of the battery, or a full day of heavier use without having to charge. The one disappointment for my parents was the lack of additional ports on the Air, but neither had any specific connectivity need that couldn’t be met with either Bluetooth or wifi. Even their printer is wireless, so that was mostly a superficial gripe. All in all the best device for their needs, and the price was definitely right.
