Cracked screen right out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been wanting a MacBook for about a decade. I finally took the leap and bought this one. Out of the box, the screen was cracked. I couldn’t even get it up and running. I begin to read reviews regarding the screen being extremely fragile and found thousands of customers just like me who were very disappointed! I have been a loyal iPhone user for 13 years. I was very frustrated upon reading that Apple takes no responsibility for their fragile glass screens. An item as small as a crumb can crack the thin glass and they will blame the customer. That is not user error, but manufacturer defect. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that Apple is just trying to squeeze a couple hundred more dollars out of each customer, each time a screen breaks, since Apple care+ does not cover “accidental” damage.

Nothing but great things to say about BestBuy though and they exchanged the MacBook Air for a new unopened one and we paid the difference in price. Pleasant Hill Rd in Duluth Ga is the best!!!!!!
