This MacBook deserves 1 star, it was working good when I bought it and then after the battery dies very fast even tho I charged it before work and it wouldn’t turn on until I charged it. It turns very hot quickly, and for 15 days return is not worth it. If someone is wrong with your computer or something is damaged you gotta pay 50 dollars for a membership so they return it. That’s unfair when it’s not your fault that the computer came like this. Very disappointed,

Apple should have gotten the bugs out of this before releasing. It could've been a great laptop, but ended up being a frustrating waste of time. I've bought many computers and never had issues like this. It sporadically shuts down for no apparent reason. Much of the time my external monitor isn't recognized, but then sometimes it is. Intermittent issues. (The external monitor problem is a known issue by many others.). The USB-C - ethernet adapter Best Buy sold me when laptop was purchased isn't compatible with this laptop, so I ended up ordering one from Apple. I need a dependable computer for my job and it's already wasted precious time - it's being returned.

I ordered the MacBook, it was in stock. I was promised delivery by Monday. I get a phone call that there is a problem, the laptop will arrive on Friday. I actually got it on wednesday. Obviously the logistics department is clueless.

froze the first time I used it and only works with the webcam I have to use for school half of the time but other than that works well.

The computer wasn’t the, the absolute chaos of getting the product was absolutely unnecessary and a function of bad management at best but

Fancy iPad with a keyboard. This is not made for professionals. I Had to reboot it to factory settings after a day of use... and bring it back to beat buy to get reimbursed (great experience). It is fast for the internet, multimedia services and videos, but slow if you are not using a app from the appstore. If you like editing photos and videos this is NOT for you. If you are a professional, don’t even think about it until The next generation. I got hyped by the benchmarks and sell talks but again, it is just a fancy iPad for now.

This is the bargain bin Mac, and the battery life and screen reliability show it. Because we are so tied into the Mac ecosystem I have no choice but to continue to buy them, but between the four members of my family we have had six of these in the last seven years. All have had poor battery life or failing screens after two years. Make sure you buy them on sale because you will need the extra money for either battery replacement ir screen replacement.

The MacBook Air does not natively support multiple displays because of limitations from their M1 processor. I tried to connect the computer to my displays through a hub and it only turns on one display. I have an older intel-based MacBook Pro that works perfectly fine in the exact same setup. After 3 hours, 2 Best Buy visits and a $140 purchase of a "HyperDrive Viper" hub that was recommended by Best Buy product specialists it still does not work. These decisions are going to hurt Apple big time in the long run as they lose customers.

It’s A Very Good Beginner Laptop But Did Not Perform The Way I Needed It To!

I bought this laptop last December and it has been junk. Within a few months the thing would lock up and you would have to restart it. Then the screen went out. I brought it back to Best Buy and was told they couldn’t fix it. They said I had to bring it to an Apple store to see if they could repair it. I will never buy another Apple laptop.

The product was fine. The customer service wasn’t. I purchased this online for in store pickup. Online it said it would be available by 1pm. It wasn’t ready until around 8pm. I live an hour and a half away and it was such an inconvenience .

Some technical errors. Keeps randomly shutting down. Fine other than that

Wife used this twice the battery stopped charging @ 13 months - out of warranty! I bought a battery on Amazon and watched a YouTube video and did major surgery and tada works again - never had an apple problem like that before….

The compute is great itself the only reason for my low review is because I ordered a gold and what came to me was a rose gold MacBook. Lucky I like rose gold but still not the color I ordered.

Computer might be good but the company is awful to order from and won’t help you out when it comes to fixing your order they messed up they won’t ship it out when it’s supposed to it said next day and I picked that because I would be home on the weekend and it’s apparently packed and ready to go but now it’s telling me the day I’m supposed to get it I won’t get it and it won’t get here till July 30th instead of the 17th and I can’t cancel it cause it’s already packed and ready to go so now I’ll receive it on a weekday when I won’t be home to sign for it. Just avoid the hassle and get it elsewhere and save yourself the headache

I purchased this laptop online as an open box in "excellent condition" on 05/16/2021. The laptop was received on 05/21/2021 with no cosmetic issues, but upon setting things up the computer would not allow me to set up a profile. The computer would freeze and then eventually tell me the name I chose was not available. After doing a reboot and even driving 2 hours to the nearest Apple store, the tech told me the computer would have to be mailed into apple for the actual hardware error to be found and fixed. I CANNOT believe that BEST BUY would really sell a computer as excellent condition that was nonworking. This was a huge disappointment as it reflects on the company. I took the computer back and got a refund.. I JUST HOPE NO ONE ELSE ENDS UP WITH IT AGAIN!!!

It’s working great for the most part my child loves it

I’ve been getting the spinning wheel since soon after I purchased this computer 6 months ago. I tried to live with it because I knew it would be a nightmare to try and get it fixed. The problem finally got bad enough that I can’t use the computer any more. Best Buy says the only thing they can do is send it out for a diagnostic which will take 3 to 5 weeks. I feel like these are rejects from the actual Apple Store.

Floor model, terrible battery health. Would have preferred a newer open box computer
