Lightweight and Simple :)
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, so I've owned this laptop going on two years now and let me just say that it's been the best two years ever. Coming from an HP which was 15 inches, extremely heavy for toting around, and slow, this MacBook checks all of those issues off easily. I thought the 13 inch would be too small but it's perfect and Im never going back. Between it being lightweight, holding a long charge, and being very quick to responding, I have no complaints. With the new macOS Sonoma update it's just gotten even better and I hope to have it for years to come. Just a few things: Firstly, it's extremely quiet. Again, coming from an HP that used to overheat and have an extremely loud fan, I forget that the MacBook is even actually on if I step away for a minute. Secondly, the display is great! Between watching a YouTube video, being on FaceTime, or on zoom, this things looks amazing at all times. Lastly, the features it comes with are awesome and make using the laptop even better. Being able to be connected to my phone, seeing messages, notes, reminders, etc is very useful. Overall, I have no complaints and I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a new one.

Excellent Mac especially when its on sale.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my MacBook Air M1 on sale. Great price for such a powerful computer. I bought one for my wife and I tried it out and it's great! I liked it so much I bought one too. I shifted over from a 2015 15" MacBook Pro. Since this was a 13" screen it wasn't that big of a difference. Right off the bat I could tell how much faster this Air was. Everything especially Apple 1st party apps worked so fast! The Touch ID is still the best. Can't do with out it now. The battery life is awesome!! I've gone 5 days of use before it even gets to 20% battery. USB-C charging is where it's at. I got an Anker 30 watt charger because it's much smaller and charges the same as the stock charger you get. I ended up getting the M1 version over the M2 mainly because of the stupid notch. I hate the notch on the phones and I really wasn't even entertaining the idea of a MacBook Air with one on it. No regrets there. Day to day use is so fast and easy. I'm using it for business or programming but it's fast enough for any task. The Speakers are actually really good! From music to movies to even videos on espy, it sounded great! Web Cam sucks. Its Garbage but if you have and iPhone you can link them up and use the iPhone camera to get better picture quality during FaceTime calls. I'm not sure if it works for anything else. This Mac is light, fast and has great battery life. It great if you're on the go a lot! I would defiantly wait for it go one sale again if you can wait. I got mine for $799.99 The price drop is worth the wait.

Amazing, but…
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the base model. Works great. Real fast. the battery lasts long and doesn’t get hot with most tasks. Lots of video rendering will get it to heat up. Since I’m doing more video editing and rendering than I expected, I should have gotten a Pro and more than 256 gigs. I have to do a lot of data management, uploading to the cloud, and saving large files to external hard drives. If you get an Air, at least get 512 gigs in case you want to run Parallels to put Windows on it which I should have done in the first place.

MacBook Air Review
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using the MacBook Air for a year, I’m extremely satisfied with its performance. The M1 chip delivers fast, efficient processing for everyday tasks, and the battery life is outstanding, often lasting a full day on a single charge. Its sleek, lightweight design is perfect for portability, and the Retina display is sharp and vibrant. The Magic Keyboard and responsive trackpad make it a pleasure to use. While the port selection is limited and the webcam could be better, these minor drawbacks don’t overshadow its excellent overall value as a reliable, everyday laptop

Terrific!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a fast, light, reliable laptop, to have an "old" processor, the M1 is more than enough for your daily tasks, very good performance and excellent battery life, a very good option to not spend so much, anxious to get the most out of it!!! works perfectly with the Apple ecosystem is the perfect complement to your daily work

Great computer, you won't be disappointed.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace my 2019 MBP (entry model). When using my MBP it would often sound like a jet was taking off even with simple tasks like browsing the web with multiple chrome tabs open. It also got very hot. The MBA does not do any of those things. It does not have a fan, so no jet noises, but also seems to have much more power under the hood to keep it chugging along through the daily tasks. I also am a huge fan of the keyboard in the Air compared to the MBP, the magic keyboard is so refreshing to use after being stuck using the terrible butterfly keyboard for so long. Glad apple decide to ditch that keyboard.

MacBook Air M1
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop if you can get a deal on it If it was full price for a 2020 model, with 8gb of ram, and a 256 SSD, this laptop wouldn't have been in consideration in my search. Best Buy had a great deal on it a month ago. I am already in the "Apple Eco-System" so toggling things between my iPad, phone, and MacBook is seamless and fast, just convenience. The 8gb of ram sounds like a joke in 2023 but if you're just doing some basic tasks, ie; a few safari tabs, notes open, test taking, etc, its not going to slow down, its enough since the OS is great at being efficient with that kind of stuff. The soldered on SSD was also concerning but again if you're not a power user downloading a lot of large files I'm sure it'll last a long time. The battery life is great, I have no issue getting a few days out of it. Build quality is also the greatest I have felt personally and while the keyboard is different that anything I've used in the past (mechanical, brown switches) after a month of use I started to like it a lot. Some other small things I've noticed, its VERY thin, not too heavy in a backpack, speakers are loud and sound great, the screen gets fairly bright and is nice to look at, trackpad hasn't been an issue when using different gestures, touch ID hasnt failed me yet, webcam quality and mic are average. If you can get a deal on it and if you're a casual user like myself, I would recommend it all day. I'm in flight school just using it for basic tasks and it does everything that I need it too very well. The only gripe I've had is the 2 USB-C ports, I guess its something you sacrifice with the form factor. Personally I would've given up a few millimeters of its profile and thinness to get some more ports and ease of use. Keep in mind one is used for charging so you only have 1 open port if that time comes

It’s fast, efficient, and handles tasks from browsing to video editing effortlessly. The battery life is outstanding, lasting up to 18 hours, and the Retina display is vibrant and crisp. The Best Bang for Your Buck in a MacBook
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This MacBook Air with the M1 chip is an incredible performer. Super portable due to its size and weight. Outstanding display quality and incredible battery life. The only knock is the lack of ports. Only 2 USB C/Thunderbolt 4 ports and one will be consumed by the charger when plugged in. You can remedy this with a large choice of external dongles or hubs, but you really shouldn't have to purchase those additional accessories for a near $1000 laptop.

amazing device
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll try to keep it short. Prepare for a thorough adoration rant. Leave now if you're not a fan lol. This is the first computer I've ever owned that just plain works, Without fail. At all times. It's blazing fast. It's bug-free. A little light on memory but I just don't care. Love not needing cooling vents, the first laptop I know of that you can actually put on your lap and not worry about cooling issues. The magic keyboard is magic, the touch and feel is great. The backlight lets me use it outside without the porch light on so the bugs aren't as bad. No data connections but lightning (USB-C) but I don't care, I just buy adapters as I need them. I JUST LOVE that it has a 4.5 mm headphone jack. That rocks for FaceTime or music or privacy. It does everything I need to do, everywhere I need to do it. I love the silver color, it keeps the device cooler in the sun than the space gray option. I don't like gaming but I would like to see how it performs with that just to see if it's possible to really challenge the processor. If it runs out of memory I'll just buy some external memory I guess. I will never buy a PC again even if my life depends on it. It breezes through programs that aren't optimized for macOS Big Sur, which is good because it's new enough that developers haven't adapted to it lots yet. This little dude is an electronic warrior. Get this computer if you just like to get stuff done without drama. Opt for the bigger memory if you're really worried about it. I've had mine for over four months and 256G hasn't been an issue so far. Oh, battery life is amazing. I can power surf or stream or do classwork or word process all day and still have a good amount of juice left over. Save your pennies for however long you need to and get yourself an Apple Silicon computer. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. My experience, my opinion. Thanks for your valuable time. And thank you, Apple.
