Great lightweight and fast working laptop. Kids take to school every day and love it.

For me personally I have owned only Apple until recently say within the last 2-3 years when I was in need of a laptop but on a low budget so I ended up purchasing a Samsung Chromebook because of price and although I do very little actual work on the Samsung when I needed to do something it was very difficult for me? Honestly, I'm not sure why I had a Pro before the Air. I love everything about it, and since I'm not in any sort of graphic design or using any programs of that nature, the Air is PERFECT. I don't miss anything about my previous Pro in using this. Good luck! It was tough deciding for me too. But I don't regret my purchase at all

love it, never gets hot. don't have to deal with annoying fans being on all of the time and it is also very fast.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Was debating between the MacBook and a Microsoft laptop. I was concerned about the 13.3" size of this MacBook, but decided for my use a smaller device might be better. I had also read the Apple M1 chip was extremely fast. Turns out the chip is noticeably faster than my previous Macbook and my wife's Microsoft Surface laptop. Granted her laptop is a couple of years old, but then again it cost more.

I have had three MacBook Pros. One was being worked on after poor battery on a newer machine. In a pinch, I went to Best Buy and bought a MacBook Air and have been using it over the Pro since. Unless you do a bunch of photo or video editing, save the money and get a MacBook Air. You can also catch them on sale.

Has this laptop for 2 years and just now reviewing it. I can say this laptop was worth the money for lasting this long without and problems later on. A lot of devices tend to malfunction after a long time. Fortunately this laptops runs everything smoothly as it did when I first got it.

I actually bought two!! My kids love them and will use them for various school activities that Chromebooks could not handle or keep up with. We are Apple people and this was an easy switch. These are lightweight but powerful and sturdy. Make sure to get a case and other add-ons to do HDMI, USB, etc.
