Highly recommended for students. Battery and performance is amazing

I was in need of a new laptop for school and this was available plus it’s light and I can do all my work on it.

It is my first time having a MacBook, and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. The device runs smoothly, and typing on the keyboard is comfortable. My feature of the MacBook is the combability with my other apple products.

I had a Toshiba and HP laptops before. Before buying the Mac, I was little nervous because I had never used if before. Anyway I loved the gold color and style and bought it. It look two days to learn to use it. And I wished that I should have bought one years ago because it was sooooo easier than windows laptops to use. So far so good, and I still love mine

This was a gift for my wife. She loves it! Very fast and lightweight.

Fast processor, sleek design. Retina display not as crisp as Ipad pro and Macbook Pro. Operating system and chip are so new that Apple has yet to figure out how to handle glitches when OS needs to be reinstalled.

I got this for my daughter as part of the student discount. This saved me an additional $100. The buying experience was simple order online and pick up at the local Best Buy. MacBook Air itself does what a Mac does. Simple to use and if past experience is an indication, should last years to come. So far my daughter loves it and uses it for HS.

For me, I wanted a laptop without a fan. And with Apple’s new ARM based laptops the air fit exactly what I wanted. And while you can get cheaper chromebooks that offer no fans, I just don’t trust Google with my data. And I would much rather have a full blown operating system in MacOS than the paltry chromeOS that relies too heavily on online applications.

After using the newest 11th gen Intel i7, Ryzen 4900HS and now this M1, the M1 wins hands down on performance, efficiency and value. The new Ryzen 5900HS might be a solid contender, but in terms of performance per dollar, the M1 is going to hold the crown for 2021 until Apple releases their next gen MX laptop. If you can find this on an open-box deal, just buy it.

I guess it’s wicked awesome!? I bought it for my kid and haven’t seen it leave her side! She uses it for school and her art projects. I might have to get one for myself to see what all the fuss is about.
