Very Similar! The main differences that I can see are that you have more USB ports on the Pro, and you are able to run the pro without the processor throttling down to a slower speed because of thermal issues. Basically, the Pro has a Fan, the Air doesn't. I bought the Air with 8gb, however ive decided to return it for a Pro with 16gb. I thought 8 would be enough, but it turns out After Effects needs a lot of ram.

The MacBook Air is actually a solid contender in the Mac line up. But also the fingerprint reader as the power button is intriguing within itself. But it always automatically starts right after you shutdown the computer. That is amazing. No need to push the power button. It just wakes by itself when ready.

Love the color and the different features. Love the finger print and the light and manageable can take any where

M1 Macbook air is the best laptop to purchase right now. I was a pc user but no intel or amd processor comes close to performance and batterly life this thing has. Everything is instant

I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it! It works great for everything she needs it for. The new M1 chip really makes a nice difference. The battery life lasts FOREVER!

I never thought I could buy a MacBook Air with the M1 chip for less than $1,000. I knew, however, if I checked the Best Buy website every day, I would have the best chance to catch the best price available from a trusted store. Every expectation I had for the MacBook Air was met and every expectation of quality of service and expected knowledge by the store staff was also top notch.

I finally made the switch from Windows to Mac and this laptop does not disappoint. It is so thin and light, and the battery life is insane. So glad I got it on sale too.

I've exchanged my MBA I5 in for the M1 version without any hesitation. Its very quick and smooth with every programs utilized om a Mac. The biggest kicker is also that it doesn't have a COOLING FAN!

My first Mac ... It’s a pretty rose color, light weight and is fast in all the processes .. The Mac is quite different from the HP I had for years . The geek squad transferred my data from my HPto the MAC.... so far so good ... I purchased the Tech Protection program & the Apple Care Program. I recommend getting both. However , I was upset that the price went down $100 2 weeks after I purchased mine .

The new MacBook Air is so quick. Even with the 8GB of ram M1 makes it enjoyable to use. I recommend to buy this over any intel processor.
