I used to be a PC guy, but after using Mac, I will never go back. Out of the box, Macs win. Set up is fast and easy. I am a teacher, and after using Mac for about 3 years, I decided to buy my wife one. If anyone is on the fence, Mac is the way to go. Very small learning curve. Pros: No annoying updates in the middle of work, fast start up time, no lag time between programs, to programs timing out or not responding.... I am 100% Mac for now on.

I waited too long to join the Mac club and I am completely satisfied with my Mac Air! It’s easy to use; tons of storage for me; even going to get one for my kids! One thing I would like ri have is a charger port on the right side as well. I like that the keyboard is lit up too!

You obviously get the new apple mackbook feeling when you use it. Bad battery life! Hardly a day on a new piece with normal tasks such as browsing, coding, watching movies. Since its apple, it will cost that, sleek and light and fast is what sold me on it.

amazing computer for college. the biggest thing for me being the battery life. i can go 3 days without even charging the battery. it’s also super thin and lightweight. chances are if you just plan on writing papers or streaming the base model would be perfect enough

I can't say excellent, because that would be something that I didn't even have to think about using....But for a retired person, this is VERY GOOD. I don't need all of the bells and whistles as I am not an artist nor a part of the corporate or teaching world any longer.

For an older model, it works great for basic tasks. I would not attempt video editing or serious gaming on it, but everything else -- word processing, browsing, watching movies, etc. -- it has plenty of power and a nice, crisp display. The price was also very attractive.
