Love the Mac book that I purchased. Staff was very friendly and nice.

I had a 2013 MBA and decided to upgrade as I was having issues with streaming for class and my district could only provide a Samsung 11' Chromebook of the same age. While I'm kind of upset that the M2 redesign is coming, I can't say that this machine hasn't been great. There's always going to be newer/better just around the corner. Once they fixed the issue with Chrome I can say that this has been a beast for teaching from home/hybrid. If you need to get it and are not sure if you should wait, I don't think you'll be upset. If you're thinking of a MBP just in case, you don't need one unless you're doing something really fancy with some specialized software. This thing handles video uploads for lessons extremely well.

I’m so glad i came and bought her at best buy and saved me so money and the Macbook works really good and had no problems with it. I love it overall and helps me with college and no issues. I recommend it!!

It actually wasn't for me but I was with a friend and we used my rewards card. I did help the friend with the setup the same day. The camera quality was quite good and the user interface was too. (I think it's called launchpad or something like that). I've set up a few PCs before but this was my first time helping set up a Mac. We did run into one problem trying to set up an Apple account using iCloud. The friend is deaf so their "phone" is a videophone. The Mac wanted a phone number as part of the set up, so we gave the VP number - and never got a call through the video phone. Then we tried again, using my cell phone number. But my phone is a iPhone so it didn't allow that either. We gave up on setting up the apple ID. It did dawn on me later that if we set it up with a gmail or yahoo email we probably wouldn't have to go through the phone business. Will try that next time I see the friend. Like I said the MacBook Air was not for me. However if I ever do get a Mac I would definitely want a mouse. It didn't come with one but then most PCs don't come with a mouse either. I did notice it looks like there was only two USB ports - which should be plenty for the friend but I would find it a little limiting.

This little laptop packs a lot of punch in a fanless, all-day battery package. It does everything you need a lightweight laptop to do. Perfect for school or on the go needs. They keyboard is bery nice to type on too!

Apple is always 'Simply the best.' My previous Apple laptop was still going at 8 years old, but I decided it was time to upgrade to newer model with a lot more updates. If I was forced to point out a negative, I would say its weight is a lot more than I expected. BTW: It's speed is remarkable.

I love my new MacBook. It is an upgrade from the MacBook air I bought in 2015. I love the slim and light design. It is great for traveling and compact travel. I also love the color options.

Still prefer Microsoft Surface. I'm so use to Microsoft products. Macbook is nice, but I don't have the touch screen. I had to give it away as a gift because I still prefer Microsoft. It's nice to integrate Mac products but dont like the idea that you have to only purchase Apple products to use their products.
