Have a MacBook Pro myself but my girlfriend needed a new laptop and wanted something reliable. She had gotten used to my MacBook and wanted one for herself, this one is by far the best value for what she needs it for. She loved the color too! The new M1 chip is super fast, faster than the i7 in my MacBook Pro.

Does what it is supposed to. Light weight. Good size screen. Had some problems getting everything to transfer from desk top computer (i.e., music), but Apple was helpful. Took patience but got there. Found out that a lot of things you can download onto an ipad or iphone, you cannot download onto a laptop.

I love my Mac book it was great for college classes and many other things. I plan to use it for editing in photography as well.

This computer is faster than you've heard. Since the moment we got this computer, the almost fully specced 16" MacBook Pro we have in the house has sat in the office closed most of the time... and this is less than a third of the price!

This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned. No viruses no fuss. Its function is best. I highly recommend Apple Laptops.

Works well for students. Lack of connector slots does make you wanna think a bit though.

My first macbook. Took a while to get used with the operational system. (Always used Microsoft). I'm enjoying the connectivity with other Apple devices, performance is good to read magazines, watch movies.

Thus is an absolute wonderful apple product. So far there has not been any issues. It is really smooth to use the keyboard and also very light to carry around.

I’ve been really happy with this notebook. No problems. I use this for developing in Xcode, making podcasts, and daily internet. It gets chucked into my backpack with no cover and it takes the abuse. Haven’t tried any games.
