I love my macbook. it’s a perfect size and it’s light so it’s easy to carry around. I love that the keyboard lights up because it helps when i have to pull an all nighter. I also like how fast it is. I used to have a chrome book and the screen wasn’t as big and clear as this macbook and i love that for movies.

I love it! Nice design. Light. Easy to use. Fast and does not get hot. I have been using it for almost a month and I have found no problem. I highly recommend it.

Liked: - Long battery life (one charge WILL last all day, i.e. 16 hours. Personally tested true) - Speed (the new M1 processor really is fast) - Quiet (no fan but the laptop still does not get hot) - Light and portable - High resolution & bright display Disliked: - As with other MacBooks, the keyboard is mediocre especially compared to laptops like Lenovo Thinkpad - Incompatible applications (With the M1 processor still being new, you might experience existing programs frequently crash. For example, Chrome keeps crashing) But I would guess there will be a fix soon

I purchased this laptop in open box excellent condition and it has been absolutely great. It's smooth and very quick with processing. Very easy to carry around compared to my old laptop. Display is bright, and the battery life is wonderful. I'm finding that I can go a couple days or more before I have to charge it. I am enjoying this purchase and would recommend to anyone else.

This is my first MacBook I have ever owned. It was a bit of a foreign device for the first few hours of use, but I feel the setup is so intuitive and user friendly it would come very naturally to virtually anybody using it. I bought it as an upgrade from an old laptop that simply was not meeting my needs as a college student and it checks all of my boxes. It’s fast, reliable, easy to use, holds its charge for a great amount of time, is small enough to fit in my backpack, and the keys on the keyboard are quiet. If you’re considering, ESPECIALLY as a school laptop, I think it fits the bill perfectly. It interfaces very neatly with other apple products, which was a draw for me though I didn’t think it’d help as much as it does. I don’t have social media apps on my laptop, so when I get texts while I’m working I can just quickly respond and get right back to work without risking a 2+ hour social media detour. The M1 chip is powerful enough to easily get through any school work I have (quizzes, exams, papers) and, with the M2 chip now out in the most current MacBook Air, the M1 is priced at what I feel to be entirely reasonable for the device you get. It is absolutely still expensive, but you get what you pay for with tech. My former laptop (a chromebook) was a fraction of the price, with a fraction of the capability. Love love love this laptop, and highly recommend it to anybody considering it.

Very fast. Very light and good battery life. Flawless operation.

Great laptop for every day use. Unless you are a power user, this laptop will do just fine as a daily driver, capable of doing light video and photo editing. The only con is the lack of ports but that can be fixed with a hub. The screen is beautiful, the keyboard feels great and the battery life is superb. Get this when it is on sale $799 (it is on sale quite often), it will be the best than any other laptop at that price range.

I love using this laptop. Its an excellent computer with beyond imaginable battery life. If you use the laptop for anything other than games for video editing, the battery fully charged will last you days. Its so good. Nothing else out there comes close to this computer. Also, if you are coming from an older Intel Mac or Windows laptop, you will immediately notice the silence. I cannot stand using any other laptop now because the fan noise from everything else is just so loud. This Macbook Air is dead silent. Just a great machine to use!

This is a great portable laptop with a great battery life. It does everything I want it to in the speed that I need it to. I don’t do any gaming or programming or anything, just everyday tasks. I was able to snag one <$800 brand new a few months after this model came out so the total value for me was amazing at the time.

First time am using MacBook and got very good deal (250 dollar discount). Initially thinking to buy high configuration but this config is enough for me.. I feel like phone or wallet easy to carry anywhere. Battery life and speed is very good. I think Now I will not go back to other brand. My favorite was HP and now MacBook is my favorite now. Works well as expected; light and fast, great battery life.

I absolutely loved my Mac book, the battery life was spectacular and I was able to go days without having to charge it. I did mainly use it for school and to study. I recently upgraded to the newer MacBook Air. I do wish they had it in rose gold. All in all it had great great storage for my schoolwork. I would also sometimes watch TV on it while doing work. It ran very smoothly and never had any issues.

This thing is quite amazing. I have been an Apple guy since the early 2000s and haven't been this excited about an Apple product since the iPhone came out. This is a joy to use. I have a 16in Intel MacBook Pro for work and the M1 MacBook Air is so much better in every way. The speed, battery life and how it wakes up immediately from sleep are amazing. I have an iPad Pro and don't use it as much now. The only bummer is the one external monitor limitation but otherwise this is the perfect laptop.

The M1 MacBook Air impresses with superior performance surpassing any other MacBook in this price section in my opinion. I get nearly 13 hours of remarkable battery life. Retaining the beloved design features, ia vibrant retina display, and the reliable Magic Keyboard, and the battery space and overall performance is the tops.

I’ve used a MacBook Pro for work for years, but this is my first Apple laptop for home use. I waited for the release with the M1 chip, and have not been disappointed one bit! I use it for normal everyday use...Office products, internet, video streaming...but also occasionally will do some photo or video editing. This new MacBook Air handles everything with no problems whatsoever. It is crisp, fast, responsive, and handles everything easily. No fan — no problem. This machine never gets warm. Retina display looks great, the magic keyboard is indeed magical...I actually hate typing on my 2017 Pro for work after using my new Air. Is it perfect? No. The webcam is still not great (although fine for what we use it for), and only 2 ports is not near enough. If you’re doing heavy duty video encoding you might consider the Pro, but the Air is more than powerful enough for general everyday use and more. We have iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, so this obviously integrates smoothly into the Apple ecosystem. Using Airdrop to share files or images throughout our home makes me wonder why I didn’t make this change sooner. My local Best Buy was out of the color I wanted, but ordering online was a breeze and it was delivered to my door the next day. I was in the market for a new laptop for about a year, and I’ll tell you this was worth the wait. Couldn’t be happier!
