    I’ve always wanted a MacBook. Was happy that Best Buy had so many options for me to select. Luckily my selection was on sale. It’s taking me to get used to something new but I’m enjoying every minute of it.

    I purchased a supposedly new MacBook Air from this store, but it arrived with a serious battery defect. I returned the item on the next business day and requested a refund. After one week, I received an email from them questioning alleged scratches that did not exist when the item arrived at my home nor when I returned it. The store then refused to issue the refund, which I formally disputed. Since then, three weeks have passed and they have only continued to stall without providing a resolution. Best Buy has not mediated the situation, and I see no alternative other than taking legal action. This store needs to be formally notified, as I have seen that I am not the first customer to be harmed by this practice.
