Apple offers a 1 hour virtual training class on the weekends that you can sign up for. The class doesn't get too deep on the features this laptop offers, but it covers the basics. I would recommend signing up for this class. There's a lot of features/ short cuts I learned that I had no idea about.

This laptop is definitely heavier duty and works well as my home base. My only negative is the lack of ports/plug ins.
