    Bought 2 laptops at the same time (Microsoft Surface Laptop ad this MacBook Pro)...as a life long Apple product buyer (and shareholder), I am way more impressed with the Surface laptop. Called Apple Customer Care to troubleshoot my internet connection and had to end the call due to a very rude support specialist.

    Out of all the Macs I have owned, this one makes me not want to purchase Apple ever again. The M1 chip is crap. I got the Macbook Pro instead of the air because I deal with a lot of videos. But a lot of the software I use does not operate with the M1 chip. It also makes it harder to screen record audio and video at the same time. It plays quicktime video but it is a chore to record it. So it is not worth the extra money. I hate the butterfly keyboard and I hate that the Macbook Pro got rid of the card reader for cameras. The only reason to buy this more expensive Pro model in the first place was because it was media savvy. May as well get an air. Apple isn't for creatives anymore.

    BEWARE yes! A perfect device if you use APPLE SOFTWARE + ROSETTA valid software * search for compatible software besides that it wasn't good for my pc gaming needs yet and the loss of ports, storage mode, bluetooth in accuracies and very difficult RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS capabilities make this a no go for me now.
