This computer was an upgrade from my 2011 which lasted 10 years. I only wish I had upgraded sooner. It is easy to navigate, great battery life, and plenty of storage for me

Absolutely love this computer. The battery life is astonishing. The performance is one of kind on such a portable and light machine, with an amazing build. I'm a student that does editing and this baby is amazing. I have yet to see the performance throttle or the computer heat up. The fans rarely come on. TBH I don't know when they come on, but it's super silent and not distracting. This computer is perfect for students or anyone wanting to get into video, photo, or audio or any kind of editing. Don't recommend for games unless it's something from the apps store. All in all, this purchase will not fail you.

I grew up on Windows and switched to a MacMini in 2012 after falling in love with an iPad Mini and later iPad Pro and iPhones. I bought this for myself at Christmas when it came out. Started with the 256 HD and returned for the 512 HD because once I used it, realized how great the M1 chip and features were and knew I would have it for a long time. Battery life and Touch pad are great and Im getting used to the Touch Bar. Very happy with this awesome machine.

I already own a Macbook pro of the intel variant. When compared to that, this latest M1 processor far better in terms of performance. It lasts for around 18-20 hrs of normal operations or up to 5 days on light browsing and syncing emails from a battery perspective. One limitation when compared to intel based device, you cant upgrade the RAM and SSD as an M1 processor or hard soldered as one piece. So the only option is, you have to upgrade at the time of purchase itself. Second, you cannot boot load Windows in the latest M1 processor, whereas intel models support that.

I had to get a new MacBook Pro because my older one was not holding a charge and would die suddenly even though it said it still had a charge. This new MacBook Pro holds a charge for a fews days with casual use. It is fast at loading large apps. I mainly use it for Excel and paying bills online, etc. It might be an overkill for what I use it for but I have always had a MacBook Pro and did not want to step down to a MacBook Air that does not have a fan for cooling. The Touch Bar is nice and easy to use.

This is my first Mac and I'm still learning how to use it and I love it. At first it was a little strange since I was an avid PC user. The more I use my MacBook Pro the easier it gets to use. I just wish all computer programs worked on Mac but since they don't I will just keep my windows laptop close by. This is a great laptop. My daughter loved it so much she purchased the 16" MacBook Pro the next day. I like the 13.3 size better. It is more convenient for me to carry this size than my windows laptop which is a larger size and heavier. This MacBook Pro is so light weight. I can't say enough good things about it. I think the MacBook Pro will have enough apps for my everyday use. Now I am considering on the purchase of the Mac Mini for my desktop and go Apple products all the way for my computer, iPhone and tablet needs. It took me years to get the nerve up to make the switch and so glad I did. I like how all of my Apple products connect together and I don't have to put the info in on all of my products. When I went to Best Buy to look at the computers my intention was set on another MacBook. When speaking with the Manager about what I would use the computer for he suggested the M1. So far what he told me has been spot on. I purchased the 8gb ram and 512gb storage which is plenty for me because I don't play game or do anything fancy on it. I also love the New Beta Program which takes care of my Apple Care needs and everyone knows it is expensive but necessary to have.

I've own one another MacBook, bought it in 2012. It lasted the whole time I used it, never had an issue. It still works to this day. I decided to move on to another MacBook, it works fantastic. It is quick with this M1 chip, and it can run adobe premiere for me without any issues. Would totally buy another one, but not for a long time since this MacBook will last me a long time!

After 2 years its still doing great. Recently upgraded MacOs and its till doing fine without any hiccups with M1 Processor. 512GB is much needed as i see how softwares and macOS fills up the space. No regret on Switching from Windows, just sometime keyboard shortcuts is annoying.

My daughter had been using a macair at school but moved to another school that uses Chromebooks. She decided to buy a macbook pro to make it easier to do homework and for personal use. The RAM, processeor, display, and solid state 512GB hard drive will easily carry her through college. The touchbar is also pretty sweet.

The new MacBook Pro is very fast, and porting over your profile and the like from your previous MacBook is seamless and easy. It was definitely worth upgrading from my 2012 MacBook Air. Also, you get more computing power for a little more dollars, while the MacBook Pro is not that much larger or heavier than the MacBook Air.

Bought to replace older Mac Pro. Sale price was excellent, Best Buy even honored a lower price I found on this computer. Computer is very fast and works like any Mac Pro, easy to use and very lightweight with long battery life.
